MyInvoices & Estimates Deluxe

This program shouldnt be purchased by anyone! Its horrible! Lots of flaws!!! It doesnt consistently work! Sometimes it doesnt save prices etc. It routinely runs slow while every other program on the computer runs fast! Help costs money even when its there problem! Many times the help is learning while I wait and pay! Dont buy this one!

I totally would use this if the templates were not so outdated. Printing these templates would waste so much ink/toner. You do not have the option to change or remove the rainbow of colors from the templates.

Works if want to use the product template. Does not modify for my use.

If it hadnt been for the bad reviews, I would have tried this program a long time ago...I have been using an inexpensive, minimalist & somewhat glitchy invoice program for the last twenty years, and with the end of Windows 7 came my end of that software. So the trial and error began. I read review after review, on Amazon and online. I tried Quickbooks Online...they froze my account all while still charging the subscription fee...if you sign up with your mobile then you cant access certain account changes on your computer...youll also be charged more monthly just to have a field for purchase order numbers? Really?? Then I tried the free NCH Suite offered by Amazon..its only free for what, two weeks, then it wont print (that was a waste of time). It seems that every invoice company is just trying to lock customers into the lifetime monthly fee. I do my expense reports on an Excel Spreadsheet I bought several years ago, and I like to write out my checks. All I needed was a program to make invoices (with customizable fields) and lists of those on a monthly or annual basis...just something basic. Upon opening this program up, it appeared that Id be stuck with using the brightly colored templates, but after going into customize and clicking on the box fields; then the color tabs above, I changed the background to white and the field heads to a light blue color, thus low ink use. The font sizes can also be changed. I like how the list of invoices is on the left hand side and always visible. This program also allows for emailing and creating PDFs. If you need something basic that doesnt overly connect all your accounts...this is well worth a try! Sincerely

Easy to set up. Still trying to figure out how to customize from a selected template.

I have been using My Invoice software for years. I recently upgraded to Version 10 and have since asked for a refund and deleted the program from my computer. Obviously, no bookkeeper was consulted in the design of this program. The reports module is a joke and the payments section is not much better. Although it is possible to create attractive invoices (if you work at it)this is the only bright spot of this software. The invoice register is just short of worthless. It is hard to believe that they could screw this up so badly. IMHO this version is a GIANT step backward. After working with it for a day I gave it 1 1/2 stars out of five. After working with it for two days I reduced it to one star and on the third day I lowered my rating to zero stars. Words cannot adequately express my frustration and my disappointment. Like one reviewer said it might work okay with a few dozen invoices but try to handle a thousand invoices and payments of dozens of invoices from multiple customers on a single deposit. I dare you afterward to generate a meaningful report that tells you who paid for what. It cannot be done. I rarely write rants such as this one but I rarely am enraged this much. My Invoices and Estimates Deluxe v 10 is worse than worseless. Wish I could have back all the time I wasted on it.

I have been using this program since its release, 96 or so, And have loved it. Have made over 10K invoices. Version 10.0 is absolute trash. If you have never used this product you wont know what your missing. But if you have, version 9.0 and under, then you know exactly what i am talking about. Ive tried to contact Avanquest, no dice. Ask them What happened to the invoice register from all the previous versions? what happened to selecting multiple invoices in this now forgotten register, for printing, emailing, deleting or any function. Sometimes newer isnt better and in this case its ALOT worse. If you run a business with multiple customers that use several accounts and often request invoice histories and copies, STAY AWAY from this program. Get 9.0 instead. The lack of a seperate register, the functionality has been crippled. To the reviewer who bought this for her husband. Wait until your husband has several thousand invoices and everytime you select the invoice tab it has to load those invoices into the window on the left. Tell us how he likes it then. Why they didnt put hide paid invoices as default is beyond me. Rant off... Youve been warned. im going back to either 9.0 or Ill start using my quickbooks invoicing instead. lets see how this company stands behind their money back gaurentee
