Ive been using this for a few weeks now and havent had any issues. The short length is great if youre mounting your radio on a duty vest. Its also more comfortable if on your belt because it stays out of the way nicely. Radio transmissions are just as clear and crisp as the full size antenna and I havent had any transmiting issues. As for durability I cant say a whole lot since Ive only had it for a short time, but I dont have any doubts that its just as durable as the original full size antenna.

Works great, appears to be OEM. Have not noticed any issues with reception being any worse either. I use it on a Motorola APX 7000 and so do a ton of people at work with zero issues.

So much better than the full size antenna with no radio signal strength compromise.

My husband and several of the guys on his department loved their new Motorola radios (APX 6000Li), but hated the long antennas. The antennas stuck up too high while the radios were in their duty belts, and would actually rub against the side of their body, irritating them. So I ordered one of these shorter antennas for him, and 3 more for the other guys on the department who also wanted one. They all switched out the original antennas that came with their radios with these and theyre working perfectly. No issues with reception or incompatibility at all. Their radios work exactly the same as before, just the antennas arent ridiculously long and causing irritation when the radios are in their holsters on their duty belts.

Works great, mostly. There is some diminished/minimal reception in certain buildings that the full size motorola would still have adequate reception. In normal conditions, performs equal to the large one. Havent had any issues from dispatch. Great price too!

Perfect replacement for the long version. This antenna is about 2.5 tall and receives transmissions like the long version. I had bought a knock off brand for only 5 bucks and it was worthless.
