it gets good signal, and it doesnt stab my neck, because i have a chest mounted rigger unit. very good, i would trust Motorola with ANYTHING RADIO!!!!!! I now want the motorola all band Long antenna or portable radios. Its frickin great.

I’m writing this review in 2022 and purchased the antenna in 2018. Since then I have had NO issues with connectivity or range. I know some people are skeptical because of the length of the antenna but using this within our 16.5 sq mile city this antenna works fine (unsure if you’re using it for a larger land coverage). It’s also just helpful not to have the long antenna which the Motorolas normally come standard with, which get stuck in gear or even clothing.

So glad that i got this. The original antenna that came with it kept poking my upper arm or ribs. This is perfect and no longer pokes me and still gets great reception.

This antenna works great. I have had no issues with since purchasing it approximately 6 months ago.
