> 24 hourAfter many attempts to change my shampoo and none of it making a difference, I finally got my hair to be frizz free with this brush! And my hair takes longer to get oily now than it did before. Its super shiny as well, and multiple ppl have commented on it. Very happy! I know this brush is a bit expensive compared to others out there, and Ill admit that I dont really know how this one compares to those, but it definently did amazing things for my hair in any case.

> 24 hourThis is my favorite brush. I use it to dry my hair every morning. No static and it feels great to my scalp. No hair gets left behind in the brush. haven’t needed to clean it yet, but it looks like it would be super easy to clean.

> 24 hourThis is my third wooden brush (I also have two Mason Pearson boar bristle brushes). This one is now my favorite and go-to hairbrush. Its simple yet beautiful with the embossed butterfly. In comparison to my other wooden brushes, this one is the smoothest. It glides through my long fine hair without snagging or getting hair strands caught by the base of bristles, which can be painful and causes hair breakage. Its also lightweight, unlike one of my other wooden brushes that feels significantly hefty. The hole towards the bottom of the base is not a missing pin, its there for a few reasons: 1) to allow the air to pump out so the brush conforms to the shape of the scalp, and 2) when the brush is in need of washing, any water that might get between the pin base and the wooden part has a way of escaping and evaporating during drying time. Another plus, unlike my boar bristle & nylon MP brushes, there is no static after brushing! I will be recommending this hairbrush to my family and friends. It will make a good present for anyone with various hair types and lengths.

> 24 hourI tried several less expensive variants that claimed to have real wooden bristles. Mostly what I got was shiny bristles, probably plastic, that can’t possibly redistribute natural oils from scalp toward length of hair shaft. This brush is effective & aesthetically pleasing. I initially discovered wooden bristles via Bass brush probably 20 yrs ago but their brushes have transitioned to bamboo base. The layer which holds bristles is the weakest point no matter which brand. It cracks & degrades over time resulting in bristles that pop out because of cracks. It’s possible to reinsert them but because of the underlying cracks the bristles repeatedly dislodge. I suppose that’s to be expected as everything degrades over time. My review is based on current effectiveness which is excellent. Time will tell about durability.

> 24 hourI was specptical about this hair brush, but being I had so much static in my hair, I had to give it a try. I have fine hair but lots of it, and since Ive started using this, I can honestly say goodbye to static! Best purchase ever!!!

> 24 hourI have had another olive wood brush for some time, and I love it. But it was getting quite old and missing a few bistles. I ordered this one as a replacement, and I like it very much except that the bristles are a tad smaller in diameter and not quite as comfortable as my old one which was also made in Germany and is olive wood. But over all its a good brush.

> 24 hourIll admit I bought this for the pretty butterfly (and it sure is pretty) At first use, I didnt really like it. It felt harsh and unforgiving. I have used it for a few months now, and actually have come to like it far more. My hair has become less static. I use it on dry hair only as I cant pull it through wet har (still using my wet brush for that) I am considering buying another one
