> 3 dayAfter first time using my hair felt so soft. I have very thin hair and this made it feel so great. I will be ordering more of this brush just to have on hand. Also ordered the boar bristle brush. Love the butterfly on them. As I collect blue butterfly’s had to add these to my collection ( so glad I took a chance on these ) used fuller brush for years and these are 100% better. Love, love, love this wooden brush. Would give 100 stars if an option.

19-11-2024I like the hairbrush but it arrived with a missing bristle (peg). It is sturdy but came defective. Are there replacements for the bristles? I have upgraded my rating from a 3 to a 5 because the manufacturer responded to my inquiry and advised me that the brush is constructed with what looks like a missing bristle so that air can be released from the cushion of the brush. The brush is a pleasure to use and feel it is an excellent product.

> 3 dayOriginally had an oval brush by Tek which I bought for 35 dollars. Lost it during a trip and did not feel it was worth paying such a high price tag again. Decided I needed to look for a less expensive option. I bought the desert breeze brush 3 months ago for $24. I was happy to find that it does just as well as a Tek brush. The pins are smooth and give easily to prevent tugging on the hair, which was my main concern when buying this brush. Unlike the Tek brush this brush has a creme colored cushion which I actually ended up really liking because it stays looking cleaner than the Tek brush. With the Tek brush the black cushion accentuated every little piece of lint and dead skin cells on the brush. (This doesnt mean you shouldnt cleanse your brush often, keep your brush clean to prevent from distributing all the build up in your brush back into your hair) The attention to detail on the handle of the brush I received regarding consistent wood tones, smooth wooden finish, and engraving is not the best (and is my only reason for giving it 4 star) However, I was dissapointed to see that the price is going up as price was a big selling point for me. If the price is going up then I would expect the attention to detail to be improving as well. **Update** I used this brush for 2 years, it was my go to brush. I made the mistake of leaving the brush in the car for a whole 12 hours in Texas heat. Shortly after the cushion started to break down and crack.

> 3 dayI have relaxed shoulder length fine hair and Id been using a paddle hairbrush for years and noticed lots of hair in it after my daily brushings. While browsing on line for a good quality brush I found a link for this natural wood brush. I read so many positive reviews on Amazon, I decided to give it a try. Well I can say this is the best brush Ive used ever. After brushing twice daily there are very few hairs in the brush. Its sturdy and well made. Its easy to clean and is lightweight. I highly recommend this hairbrush.

> 3 dayThis is a wonderful brush, lightweight but sturdy bristles. I bought this to replace a wooden brush that I have had over 30 years. I was hoping to find something of equal quality and I did!

> 3 dayThis is the best brush Ive ever used! Ive had brittle, flat, unhealthy hair ever since having my baby. This brush brought life back into my hair after just a couple weeks! Its easy to get the hair out of the brush. The only thing I dislike is the handle is a bit skinny where I naturally grasp it so I feel a little less control.

> 3 dayI just recently found out that those little knobs on the end of the bristles in hairbrushes are the enemy. They cause hair breakage and tangles. I was searching for non-knobby hairbrushes and all i kept finding were bristle brushes. I have very fine blonde hair. A lot of really fine hair. If a natural bristle brush came near my hair, the esuing static storm would last for days. And then I found this beauty. This wooden hairbrush with round wooden pins is something from Heaven. Absolutely no static. And I live in The Chihuahuan Desert where there is no humidity and static is a fact of life. My hair feels so smooth and soft after i use this brush. I am going to purchase several as gifts this year and highly recommend that you gift yourself with one.

> 3 dayI went on a brush purchasing spree and ended up purchasing a100% boars bristle brush, one mixed with boar bristle and nylon pins and then also one of these with wooden pins. This brush with the wooden pins feels so nice it has become the one I reach for everyday automatically. This brush it is kind of like a comb but gentler and more relaxing if that makes any sense at all. I have straight to wavy hair that is fine in texture but thick in quantity. These bristles get right down to my scalp but do not feel harsh. Because I have fine hair it tangles easily and the brush is fantastic for removing the knots. I do think it works well to distribute the natural oils in my hair from the scalp to my ends. I have long hair and often find my top greasy and my ends dry but since using this brush that hasnt been the case and I have been able to go longer between hair washes. I have also seen a noticeable lack of static with regular use. For most of my life my hair has been a somewhat frizzy mess full of static. Having used this brush on regular basis (as in it is the only brush I use) my hair is no longer a frizzy, flyaway mess. I wish I knew about these a long time ago. The brush seems to be well made, it is very pretty and is not super heavy. I would recommend it and would have no problem giving it as a gift which I plan to do for my niece who has really thick, naturally curly hair.
