This was the cutest gift for a mommy with kittens! It was ignored for some days. Then all of a sudden they were in it daily. And there you go. The regular size is best for all size kittens or small/medium adult cats. Mommy cat barely fits in it, but cats do like to squeeze into things and she thinks she fits just fine. I say go for XL if you have a large adult cat.

This is an excellent scratcher and bed for that special furbaby(s) in your life and the product was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition! I highly recommend the Necoichi Cozy Cat Scratcher Bowl! When the scratcher wears out, you can use the outer rim as a cat bed - just add a cozy fleece and its got a dual purpose - money well spent!!

As soon as I took this out of the box, Hayden was all over it scratching and then plopped inside and took a nap. My other cat, Hendricks tried to overthrow the king in his bowl, but to no avail. Now they share it off an on. Great purchase. BTW my cats are ragdoll youngsters (about 1 year old) and about 13 pounds and barely fit, but love to sit in it anyway with furry skin spilling over the top. I am not sure what will happen in two years but right now it looks like a large cupcake with frosting overflowing when either one curls up in it to sleep. I wish they had a bigger size in this shape and style. Only 4 stars because it is all cardboard (although the frame does look like wood it is not) and is expensive for cardboard.

My cat loves it, but she uses it to chill out... soooo I need to buy another scratcher.

My two Maine Coon kitties took to the Cozy Cat Scratcher Bowl immediately...they take turns sleeping in it, and using it as a scratcher and I didn’t need to use any catnip (as I’ve had to do when introducing Timmie and Giselle to something new) in order to get them to use it. The base is extremely sturdy...holding Timmie (22 lbs) without any bending, folding, or creaking...the cardboard insert will fool you into thinking it is a solid piece of cardboard, that’s how tightly wound the strips of cardboard are...it sure fooled me. The insert is not flat, but comfortably curved...thereby enhancing its comfortability tenfold. I will be purchasing a second scratcher bowl so that both kitties can use them all the time.

My wife sent me a video of this product, where a reviewer showed how to put it together, and how her cats like it. I thought the price was a little high, but purchased it anyways. It came about a month earlier than originally projected (which was a nice surprise). I knew what to expect from watching the unboxing in the video. It was actually easy to put it together. Just have to pay attention and take it easy and do not rush putting it together. After assembling the tower and inserts, we sat back to watch the cat. At first my cat did not want anything to do with it. It wobbles a little bit (not much). Once our cat finally got up into it, she now sleeps in it quite a bit. She likes how the bowl supports her and she spends a lit of time in it. It is a decent product. It is totally corrugated cardboard, but it has enough heft to support my 13lb cat with ease.

My kitty is queen size and barely fits in this but she loves it just the same. She naps in it for one periods of time but doesnt scratch on it much because she has other options. It is cat-approved.

Largest concave cat scratcher bed I could find. Pricey for what it is, but our cats love these types of beds and the one we usually get is smaller and looks a little... circus-y... with polka dots and stripes. The size is great and looks much better in our family room. Luckily our cat doesnt scratch the edge so the frame is keeping up. Despite the somewhat misleading pictures, the outside is indeed cardboard wrapped with a faux wood paper veneer.

20# Hemingway fits perfectly and was using it as soon as it was assembled. Get the largest size if you have large breed cats. Easy to put together.
