Nero Standard 2018

The only feature I use is Nero Video so rating does not include other features. Nero video is great for combining short movies to one disk. The source can be a disk or hard drive. Menu is easy to follow and I have had no issues with it. Never had a reason to contact Tech Support.

Very disappointing compared to previous versions of Nero this version is bare bones and not very intuitive. In version 7 it took 34 minutes to recode a movie to MPEG. In this version, 4 hours. Go figure. And Nero movie viewer still doesnt work in Win 10. Sorry I bought it.

Garbage . Read the reviews. Works for awhile then nothing but error messages . Then i got emails from Nero trying to get me to buy a subscription for 200,00! Complete scam.

software is confusing at best. if you want to do a simple thing like convert a audio cd to mp3 good luck trying to use this software because it dont do it. bottom line the software is junk and doesnt do what says it does its not worth the money dont buy. version 7 ultra was so much better

When creating a DVD, the sound track does not play back on computer nor any DVD player. I have used Nero 2014 for years without a problem. Tried contacting support with no response. From searching the Internet, I am not the only one with this problem. I found a work around by saving the output to my hard drive (rather than using the burn option) and then using Nero Express, selecting Videos, and then DVD-Video disk. Select all the files in the VS_Video file that were created, and then burn the disk. That works, but a user shouldnt have to go thru all those shenanigans to get a good DVD with the sound.

Nero makes good software, for the price this is an excellent choice.

Without Nero, making a non-PC playable video/slide show is nuts. I tried everything but read online that Nero is still the best, and yes I agree. Trying to burn a DVD should not be this hard, but somehow only Nero would work for my PC.

Nero is a very good software. Microsofts Media Player has not moved the song title and artist to the CD for some years now; Nero does. Also Nero has better audio sound. Dont know how they do it but it does. I read on a chat room people had trouble with Nero and Windows 10.....I didnt.
