Item that arrived was 130 watt not 180watt supply. Very disappointed.

My original power adapter for my Alienware computer died unexpectedly. I was glad to find an OEM power adapter at a reasonable price with Prime shipping and quick delivery. It worked perfectly from the moment I plugged it in.

Worked fine for a few days before it stopped charging, with bootup listing an unknown type of charger. This is a scam if you have a G5, dont buy. Dell really needs to sell their official chargers at not-insane prices at places like Amazon, so people arent forced into buying knock-offs, and because now Ill probably electrocute myself using my original charger with a split-end all to avoid paying $120.

I was worried reading some of the other reviews here. I went into this fully expecting a cheap, Chinese knock off. Im happy though. Full story: I bought an Alienware 15 R4 recently. I work away from home all week, and have a home office/man cave for when I come home. I did not want to continually set my power cord up at my desk, so I wanted a second charger. Now, Dell.com had a charger but it was over $120.00. I wasnt going to pay that. So checked and found this one was 50% of the price. Again, I expected a cheap knock off, but as long as it charges my laptop without blowing it up, Id be fine. Im not packing this cord up, its neatly mounted to my desk. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The charger feels just like my Dell one. Still has an LED on it. The plastic feels the same. The charger says its made my Dell, could be fake, honestly I dont know. What I do know, the charger works for what I want. If I did not mount it to my desk, Id quickly forget which was the charger that came with my laptop. Bottom line, for 50% off the dell.com price, worth it. I might even by another
