Its a great prime lens with expected great compatibility with the mirrorless Nikon body. The bokeh is beautiful. The lens is large and a bit heavy for a prime, but highly recommend if you are looking for top quality at 85mm

I am really happy with this lens, it has upped the quality of my portrait photography. Feels good quality as you would expect from a Nikon Lena.

I love this lens so much that 1.8 is amazing. Probably has to do more with my skill level but focusing is a real pain. Itll look in focus on most of the subject but then one area will be slightly out even though its within subject range. But dang do I love the quality on this lens.

Los extremos a f/1.8 son bastante flojos a diferencia de la zona central. A f/2.5 la lente es extramamente nítida. El bokeh es notable pero no sobresaliente. No es un canon 85mm II ni por precio lo pretende. Aun así es una lente cara por lo que es. Le pongo un 8/10 porque tecnicamente es “casi” perfecta dejando de lado lo que comento al principio y el bokeh que esta bien pero no es fantastico tampoco. El peso, el enfoque, los colores y el tamaño valen la pena.

Updated July 11th, Nikon replaced it free of charge. Arrived less than an hour ago, Ill call Nikon Monday since itll already need service out of the box, the focus motor is working but not actually focusing properly(problem is only with this lens, my others are all fine) once its serviced or replaced Ill let you know how it is, other than that this is clearly a used lens, the s/n doesnt match the box and it has minor wear on it but no scratches on the glass so not a huge deal though I paid the brand new lens price so thats questionable anyway

Got this beast of a lens on the Black Friday sales from Amazon direct as an authorised Nikon seller with Australian warranty (something Im very careful about). 25% cheaper than my local camera shop and the best part (apart from obvious savings) - next day delivery!! Was told by the camera shop that I could pre-order for the premium price with no ETA...
