I bought Kirkland merino wool socks for a few years. They used to be excellent! Soft, thick, durable, best value. The quality of Kirkland has declined significantly over the last few years and last bunch I bought literally were threadbare after just a few months of wear. I spent quite a while researching for replacement brand and I finally decided to try these. I only ordered 1 box (4 pairs) as they are less expensive than many others but still a bit pricey. They are definitely my new sock of choice!! I ordered 2 more boxes ( 8 pairs). They are very soft, durable and not itchy! ( I have extremely sensitive skin so this is very important!! The percentage of Merino wool is substantially higher than most of the other brands available on Amazon without breaking the bank. I also just wash them normally in warm water and toss them in the dryer at the same heat as my jeans, sweatshirts, etc...and have had zero shrinkage or pulling. These are the best merino wool socks available for a reasonable price. I will definitely order more as necessary.

I incorrectly thought these socks were all black - didn’t look closely enough at the description or photo. They are cozy and soft and I kept them nonetheless.

I will actually do laundry, just to insure I have a clean pair of these to wear on a cold day. Not sure I have ever ordered a second package of socks because I liked the first one so much, but I did with these...in fact, Im ordering a third package to gift my sister. These are the perfect amount of soft, thickness, stretch and warmth...theyre also pretty cute. I love them, truly.
