I don’t do well with wool, but it’s hard to find warm socks without wool in them so I took a gamble on these and was shocked at how NOT scratchy these are. Would give them 6 stars if I could. This material is so nice that it would do great as a sweater, which is saying a lot.

> 3 dayI have owned many wool socks over the decades, and these are by far the best I have ever owned. Before purchasing these I ordered 80% wool socks from a different company, and although very nice, these are by FAR superior. The first ones (with predominantly acrylic in the other 20%) made my feet drenched within an hour of wearing them in shoes, so my feet were always cold. These socks (made predominantly with cotton in the other 20%) DO NOT MAKE MY FEET SWEAT, so they stay dry and warm. I have other wool hiking socks that I wear all the time, and I like these far better! They are of excellent quality, the perfect thickness for shoes (thick without being overly so), and are truly the most beautifully colored and designed wool socks I have ever seen. They come in a very nice gift box that includes a little bag, and I have already given them as a gift. I am going to order more right now. I dont think I will ever buy a different kind of wool socks again! (FYI: they do say to hang dry...)
