My gerbils love this little ladder/hide. The ladder part can be hard to clean though. Things get caught in the gaps and you do need a brush to get them.

This is one of my favorite items I’ve purchased for the hammies. I am obsessed with niteangel products so I’m always buying their newest releases. It’s the perfect size for both Syrians and dwarves. The opening is perfect! While it is quite a pricey item, the quality is amazing. It’s sturdy and just holding it in your hands, you can tell it’s not a cheap hide. Like all of niteangels wooden products, they send you a rectangle of sandpaper with the hide so you can sand any rough edges or if you midge pods your wood items to preserve them like I do it’s great to smooth out each layer. This company clearly puts a lot of thought and effort into their products and I will be buying more and more items from them.

Niteangel has some amazing products for hamsters and this is one of them. Hard to find good hamster hides that are fit for Syrians and this is perfect

I bought this item to give my hamster some variety in his home. He seems to be able to climb onto it easily and likes to explore underneath as well. Would definitely recommend!

My mice adore this it’s a lot bigger then I expected but still love it

My hamster, Buffy, just doesnt seem to know she can burrow. She will dig just deep enough to sort of cover herself with bedding, but she hangs out mostly at the surface of her bin cage. When doing research, I found that hamsters sometimes take over other burrows and so a burrow starter might be helpful. Last night she slept below the surface of her bedding for the first time! No idea if this will lead to burrowing, but Buffys officially approved this. I love that its sturdy, smooth, safe, and just the right size to add below my Niteangel multichamber hideout in my 50 gallon bin cage. And I love the little side opening so I can see if shes enjoying herself. Hamster and human both give good reviews.

This elephant is adorable. Our dwarf hamster loves it. She has created a sleeping chamber under it and loves to run up and down the trunk. We have a 20 gallon long tank and this fits well. It does take up a good amount lengthwise but since she can climb on it you don’t really loose the space. She still has room to run back and forth. She really enjoys the added privacy the elephant gives the tank. We have her sand bath behind it so she has an area of the cage that she can hide out in. I really like Niteangel products. The quality of the elephant is amazing. We were choosing between this and the boxes they make with chambers and the removable lids. We are glad we went with this because it adds a climbing surface and we were a little worried about the removable lid squishing our hamster somehow. We’d also like to try the Niteangel hideout that is a two chamber underground room if they get the smaller dwarf size back in stock. For now though, the elephant is perfect. Will buy more from Niteangel.

My hamster is very picky about what he likes to use a d he loves this he sits by it goes inside it takes naps on it and its very well built I will say though if your hamster likes to pee on everything you are going to need a varnish to make it waterproof

My syrian hamster loves it! The size is great for my 165g furry friend.
