I believe the majority of reviews complaining about them being loud are over exaggerating, far to sensitive to even the slightest amount of fan noise coming from their pc, or dont know how to set a proper fan curve so they dont run at full blast 24/7. I bought 6 of these for my airflow case and are all running around the same speeds on a custom fan curve to keep my pc as cool as possible and only going slightly higher under load and it doesnt bother me at all sitting on my desk next to me. Yes they can get loud up to 2000rpm but should not be the case since they cool so well unless you have a bad case with with bad airflow.

I purchased two of these fans to pull air through a 280mm radiator and they keep my 4690k overclocked to 4.7GHz nice and cool. They only will start up at about 40% power, so they are not silent, but not disruptive at lowest speed. At highest speed however you can really hear the airflow. For my application I rate them 5 stars because Im not a stickler for a silent PC and they perform extremely well.

Wow these fans are NOISY. VERY loud when they kick up. Also the cables are VERY short, had to buy extension cables just to be able to plug them into my motherboard.

I bought of a pair of these fans to replace a pair of very loud and rattling SP140L fans that came with my brand new Corsair H110i GTX liquid cooler. Not only was the quality of the fans apparent out of the box compared to the Corsair fans, but when installed, these fans are extremely quiet, have no rattle whatsoever and they improved cooling performance.

Expensive, but work good. Better than any of the corsairs, be-quite!, or any other brand fan I have used. push more air and are dead silent.

This fan move tons of air. Went crazy and swap out 4 fans with these. Turn the power on and saw my PC fly away.

I have bought a ton of fans through out the years. This one is well built but and quiet but I have bought cheaper fans that push the same amount of air. I am hoping with the quality and higher price it will last longer. I would recommend this product.

As the title suggests is this $30 fan worth your money? Ive compiled some figures that I find interesting and hopefully they will help you in choosing. I purchased this fan to upgrade the NZXT FX-140 PWM fan that came with my Kraken X40 liquid cooler. It was between this fan and the Noctua NF-A14 Premium Quiet fan. I got the PPC version because of its superior static pressure and wider range of RPM, while hoping I can find the perfect balance between cooling performance and sound.

I dont know where people get the idea that these are quiet. These are very loud even at 30% RPM. These fans were simply no better than your standard case fans.
