> 3 dayThe MiSTer I/O board comes with a fan that is quite loud but keeps the boards cool. Many have gone over to this fan for near silent operation. It was easy to install, but if you want a more custom fit, you will have to cut the cables down to make them smaller in length. However, the cables will fold and you can squeeze the cables to fit your MiSTer case well. You can run the fan at 3V for silent operation. You can also move the fan jumper and run it at 5V, but it will run a little louder.

> 3 dayMore expensive than other similar fans but very well made and quiet. I was replacing a fan in a charging station and bought this and a cheap fan to compare the difference. This fan was way quieter to me and worth the purchase. It was thinner than the 20mm thick fan and less air but the charger does not feel any hotter to the touch than with the old fan. With the Noctua the charger is now virtually silent. I have to get right up to the cooling ports to feel and hear it working.

> 3 dayNice quality fan, but pretty low CFM. I really like the build quality of this fan, and it is superbly quiet. It just did not have quite enough airflow for my application.

> 3 dayI have a heatsink for my raspberry pi that I picked up that was both noisy AND annoying as it had LEDs on the fan. Swapped it out with this fan and, while I see it spining, from a distance I hear nothing! absolutely quiet AND I am running my Pi4 24/7 at 34.56 C / 94.2 F... had to take the heatsink off to make sure the sensor was working!

> 3 dayWell packaged and all parts well made. When installed in my security system produced a high pitched whine much louder then the slightly noisy cheap fan I was replacing. Removed this and replaced the slightly noisy cheap fan back in the system. I will keep this for some other project where noise is not so important.

Greater than one weekIn order to fit this into your Dreamcast you have to buy a 3D printed fan mount adapter and wire adapter. It works great, and is much more silent than the original fan inside. My heavily modded DC stays nice and cool, and super quiet. Love it!

> 3 dayExpensive, but very effective and when using the elastic mounts very quiet.

> 3 dayThis is a 5 volt fan, it comes with three and two-wire adapters. I installed this in my super noisy Q-See QC818 HD-DVR, to get rid of the mendacious OEM $1 fan -- problem solved. In fact, the DVR is so quiet now that I can actually hear the cheap hard disk spinning. The Noctua is made in Austria, and the design and workmanship seem extraterrestrial. Once you discover this brand, it will become the only choice for any custom build.
