> 3 dayMy TiVo Roamio 35x35x10mm fan was failing regularly making a loud noise. The fans sold for a direct replacement were short lived, 2-3 mo. I took a chance on this fan even though it’s 40x40x10 mm size and 5 mm talker. The good news is it will fit if just set in place, no screws, with just thin 2 sided tape on the bottom to hold it in place 1/16 inch from the hole. The plastic tivo case top will bow but snap back in place with just a 1/4 in max gap at the back. Wow is it quiet! My TiVo cpu now rubs at 39-42C and so quiet! From many search reports, Noctua fans do run quiet and for long times I’m counting on. If it lasts a year vs 2 mo vs other fans $4 or $30) it’s well worth the $15 price! Hope this helps TiVo Roamio owners with another silent fan option now. It isn’t a direct fit, but it will fit good enough to snap the case cover on both sides. It’s been a month now and my TiVo temperature stays between 35 and 42c depending on room temperature and streaming or watching off the hard drive. Acceptable temperature range so far.
