> 3 dayI bought this to replace the obnoxiously loud fan on my Lepa AIO cooler. The Noctua isnt silent, nor does it claim to be, but it is much quieter than the fan it replaced. The stock fan on the Lepa was like a shrieking harpy in comparison.

> 3 dayThe brown rubber in the sides still makes this an ugly fan and honestly its pretty dang loud. It doesnt go down to a very low rpm so its fairly loud compared to my Fractal Design Venturi HP Fans. Those are still my favorite.

> 3 dayAs advertised, these are industrial fans, built for what Noctua has determined to be challenging cooling climates made for servers. As such, at full power, these fans do sound like a moderately loud jet engine. I bought 6 for my case and my computer now seems like an extremely loud jet engine when I crank my fan controller up to 100%. I do not regret buying these at all however as they move massive amount of air at even the slowest setting. Gaming with these on has been a breeze (more like a hurricane) as I can keep temperatures at a very manageable setting. All of these fans are PWM and have the ability to be controlled through temperature sensors if you should so choose so.
