Noctua NF-S12A PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (120mm, Brown)

Quiet, solid construction. I use these exclusively for all my 120mm case fans.

How can anyone complain about this fan? They probably installed it incorrectly so it runs at max rpm all the time (1200 rpm). I installed using 4-pin PWM. This fan is so quiet I cant hear it when it runs between 600-1200 rpm depending on my computers load. I now hear my refrigerator or environmental noises more. Ive included a video, its quiet even with the case side panel removed. In fact I believe my power supply fan is more audible, I may have to upgrade the PSU next. I attached this fan to my case and use it as an exhaust fan. I still cant get over the build quality of this fan, its very well engineered and seems built to last.

These are the best fans I have ever used. I have bought 10 of these. From a technical POV these are super quiet and well engineered. The kit comes with all sorts of cables, jumpers, extensions and twofers. The box contains screws and also rubber quick connect mounts. Although it doesnt effect performance the box and packaging is really top-notch. You can tell Noctua has really spent some time engineering and thinking through this hardware. These are not glitzy LED lit fans, but really a nice bit of tech that does the job of cooling and is very quiet. I cant think of any reason to use any other fan in any computer I build

Noctua is absolutely the best maker of coolers and fans, bar none. This fan is no exception.

OMG, This fan runs so quiet. Initially, I was looking to buy an Y-Splitter and Low Noise Adapter for my fans which costs about $8 each. Then I came across this product and learned that this comes with both y-splitter, and low noise adapter. so I thought, why not just purchase this for $3 more? which is exactly what I did(ended up buying two of these for front intake use). I like to run my computer very silent so my concern was that by adding two more fans to my PC, it might become more noisy but that was not the case with these fans. As for temperature, not much of changes for system temperature since theses fans are used as front intake fans. but I know they will definitely help to prevent dusts from piling up inside the case.

Have this fan as my case’s exhaust fan and it works wonderfully. Keeps my computer components cool while I game. I highly recommend buying one if you need a great exhaust fan.

Premetto che ho un dissipatore ad aria Noctua del quale mi sento pienamente soddisfatto, ragion per cui pensavo anche di sostituire la ventola posteriore del case. Questa ventola seppure con un bundle strepitoso, si è dimostrata più rumorosa (relativamente allo spostamento dellaria generato dal movimento delle pale che genera rumore passando tra le pale della ventola ed i fori della griglia posteriore) della ventola stock oramai vecchia. Il rumore si percepisce esclusivamente in un utilizzo prettamente notturno quindi, in assenza di rumori esterni ed altri, in questo ambito io ho avvertito molto distintamente il rumore della ventola, comunque mai fastidioso questo si, ma pur sempre avvertibile. Di conseguenza non mi sento di dare 5 stelle (discorso a parte come sempre Amazon) ad un prodotto che non ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative.
