Si monta al case tramite supporti in gomma pensati per ridurre le vibrazioni, e quindi il rumore, al minimo. Unica pecca il montaggio. Ho avuto un po di difficoltà per fissarla sui supporti in gomma ma anche a causa del poco spazio di manovra per le mani.

> 3 dayHo acquistato questa ventola da 120 mm. per sostituire quella interna del mio Power supply che dopo circa 5 anni era ormai diventata rumorosa. Ho scelto un modello PWM per regolare la velocità e ridurre il rumore quando non serve la rotazione a massimo regime. Con una piccola modifica lho collegata sul connettore PWM della scheda madre assieme alla ventola della CPU, utilizzando il cavetto a Y in dotazione. In questo modo quando la CPU richiede un aumento di giri al proprio ventilatore, anche la ventola dellalimentatore aumenta la velocità, accentuando il rafffreddamento. La ventola viene fornita in una bella confezione con parecchi accessori tra i quali: cavetto Y, cavetto di prolunga, cavetto per ridurre il rumore (riduce la tensione), gommini di isolamento e gommini di fissaggio. Personalmente ho usato solo il cavetto Y. Per montarla ho dovuto fare una piccola asola sul case dellalimentatore, per portare il cavetto in uscita. Consegna veloce, ma prezzo forse un pò elevato.

> 3 dayWhen you need quiet and long lasting fans, Noctua is the way to go. From 40mm to 200mm I have Noctua fans in my PC, server chassis, raspberry pi, 3d printer. I am never disappointed in Noctua. Each fan comes with numerous options for mounting and wiring. I have yet to have a Noctua fan fail or vibrate over time. No goofy color lighting, no stupid halo rings. They are fans, they move air and they do it nearly silently. This fan is in the front of my case in a custom housing I made to fit inside the top 5.25 bays. This delivers some fresh air towards my DRAM and up through my top mounted radiator.

Greater than one weekNot quite what I was expecting. I hear a lot about Noctua, they are held in real high esteem among PC builders and enthusiasts alike. So it was a clear choice at the time of purchase. I bought it to replace the stock fan on my Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, but I was surprised to discover that this fan just isnt powerful enough to cool my i7-3770K at stock clock. I had to change the speed of this fan in the BIOS to 80% just to keep my CPU at an average of 28C to 30C. Decent fan, but not really meant for CPU cooling.
