This was a replacement for my gaming PC, much quieter than the old one.

I have 3 of them in my machine and they are super quiet and were easy to install!!

This was ordered as part of a new build in a full tower case. The case came with front and back 120 mm fans which with the power supply and cpu fans made a total of four fans. That was probably adequate but the AMD A4 socket cpu was reporting mid 50s C on idle. Adding this fan to the top of the case brought this down to high 20s C and never above 60 with ambient temperature of 20 C. Still so quiet I cant tell when the computer is on. Ill be ordering a case speaker for the post code so I know the computer comes on. The case came with no speaker and my setup requires the computer to boot before I turn on the monitor.

so far they have done exactly what they are supposed to do. i did end up purchasing the vibrations isolators. there really wasnt any excess vibration to begin with, but because of the contruction of my case, i could hear them. after those went on there was no noticeable vibration noise or even the feeling of vibration coming from the case.

Not PWM but cheaper. In the end these are quiet but I needed more static pressure.

Shhhh... SHHHHHH!!! I think I might just have heard it.... nope. These fans are super quite and have great airflow. 10/10 would listen again.

These fans are great and dont look half bad for Noctua fans, but if you want to use them for a radiator or air cooler, DEFINITELY get the PWM model (they are the same price!!). This will allow for change in speed so that they arent running at max speed all the time. Even at max speed, however, they are quite quiet, probably the quietest thing in my computer.

This is a very quiet fan, even at full speed. I typically keep them at 900 RPM for total silence, however. This fan moves a lot of air. The quality is apparent. A little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. No major complaints.

My current case, the Lian Li Lancool 2, has a bracket for three intake fans on the front that you cant see the fans on. The Noctua fans are perfect for this use. Theyre a great low price, incredibly quiet, and help keep internal temps low. Performs exactly as expected of a Noctua product.

Fans showed up on time. Easy install. Nice upgrade over the stock case fans.

Designed for efficient case ventilation

Typical PC case ventilation applications require high airflow but only medium static pressure. The NF-S12B has been specifically designed for high airflow efficiency and low noise in order to provide best results in these so called low impedance applications .

SSO-Bearing

Combining the proven concept of hydrodynamic bearing with an additional magnet that supports the self-stabilisation of the rotor axis, Noctua"s time-tested technology has become synonymous with supremely quiet operation and exceptional long-term stability.

Bevelled Blade Tips

Reducing critical rotor stator interaction, Bevelled Blade Tips permit to combine extended leading edges and a higher blade surface area with quieter operation and thus form a cornerstone of the fan"s outstanding efficiency.

Colour-customisable with NA-SAVP1 anti-vibration pads

The fan’s frame can be outfitted with Noctua’s chromax line NA-SAVP1 anti-vibration pads. Available in black, red, blue, white, green and yellow, these pads not only damp minute vibrations but also allow the fan to be colour-customised in order to coordinate it with popular build colour schemes!
