04-06-2025so far they have done exactly what they are supposed to do. i did end up purchasing the vibrations isolators. there really wasnt any excess vibration to begin with, but because of the contruction of my case, i could hear them. after those went on there was no noticeable vibration noise or even the feeling of vibration coming from the case.

> 3 dayFan is working silently. But it didnt start out that way. The fan on my Powerspec (Microcenter brand) desktop PC went bad, so I put in this Noctua. Powerspec had the fan connected to the motherboard PUMP SIO connector, so I plugged in the Noctua in the same place. Powered up the PC, and the Noctua fan ran FULL BLAST and was LOUD. It took some researching, but it turns out the PUMP SIO connector always runs at full voltage. Fortunately, cable on the Noctua fan was long enough to reach the unused FAN2 connector at the other end of the motherboard. And lo and behold, back to a nice, quiet PC!

Been building computers since 2004 and knew the Noctua name but this is the firs time Ive bought them. If you dont want flashy lights and just want quiet, solid performance these are the fans you want. Bought on June 2, 2021 for a dollar less than they are today. Still as good as the day I bought them.
