Noctua NF-S12B redux-1200, High Performance Cooling Fan, 3-Pin, 1200 RPM (120mm, Grey)

These fans are great and dont look half bad for Noctua fans, but if you want to use them for a radiator or air cooler, DEFINITELY get the PWM model (they are the same price!!). This will allow for change in speed so that they arent running at max speed all the time. Even at max speed, however, they are quite quiet, probably the quietest thing in my computer.

Excellent cooling fan for computers. Easy to install and fits most tower type desktop computer cabinets. Easily wired and promotes a high flow rate of cooling air over the interior of the cabinet. As far as I can tell the fan blades in number and angle are quite effective as opposed to other cooling fans of its size and package dimensions. I easily recommend it for the case cooling requirements of most desktop computers.

Everything about it is great for a low power, quiet, Mobo controlled fan. And good price. If it lasts a year I will add another star as it will have been perfect.

Only about 1/2 the air flow of the previous fans that were 5 times louder. No overheating so far.

...and easy to install. This fan replaced an old PC fan that had become annoyingly noisy. Best PC-part investment Ive made in a while -- instant relief, and itll probably perform noiselessly for years.

They seem to be decent quality, but are nowhere near silent

I am impressed how quiet these fans are. I am happy with the purchase :-)

This is a very quiet fan, even at full speed. I typically keep them at 900 RPM for total silence, however. This fan moves a lot of air. The quality is apparent. A little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. No major complaints.

I bought these 3-pin fans because I specifically wanted a quality fan to run straight off of the power supply.
