> 3 dayPerfect fit with enough clearance to access RAM. Not much else to say as its Noctua...only 2 wishes , 1 you had an option to have black a fan over there traditional beige and 2 they gave you an extra fan clip so you could purchase another fan and run push/pull setup.

> 3 dayKeeps my CPU around the Mid 40s under normal load and mid 60s while gaming. its pretty large so I had to remove the top case fan from the NZXT H510 Elite. Gets the job done though. I ended up buying Notcuas 140mm chromaxx fan to get rid of that ugly brown color.

> 3 dayI used this in a Silverstone GD08 with a Ryzen 9 5900x. At peak temps in Cinebench I was seeing just under 70C. At idle its completely silent. I compared it directly to a thermalright silver sould 135 and the thermalright was louder but 2-3C cooler. So if its for a sffp and you will be near it constantly, this noctua is probably the best option. But if its going to be rack mounted or you arent going to be near it when it is running, I would go with the thermalright.

> 3 dayEDIT 5/7/2023 - Dropping down to 4 stars because it is basically impossible to change some high profile RAM sticks with this cooler attached, especially if it is a AM4 build where you cant change the cooler orientation.

> 3 dayFits NR200 perfectly. Silent and efficient like all other Noctua coolers. Ordered another one for a second PC.

> 3 dayIm using this cooler in a 4U Intel workstation case with an LGA2066 motherboard and W-2275 CPU (rated 165W TDP).

> 3 dayThis is a great cooler especially for the Cooler Master NR200 case. I have it mounted on a Asrock H470 ITX motherboard for an intel core i7 10700. the motherboard allows me to run the CPU at 125 W vs the stock intel 65 W. Noctua has this cooler rated for 205 W max but if you add a second fan in a push pull config, this will equal that of a NH-U12A or beat it just slightly. I have tested this cooler with both single and dual fans running handbrake; my CPU lives between 65 C and 70 C with a i7 running at 100% load at 125 W in single fan mode. with no bottom fan, I have easy access to the motherboard and ram. overall excellent air cooler. I was unsure if this could handle the task so I ordered an AIO with 280 mm radiator. that AIO has been return never being used because the NH-C14S is excellent at its job.

> 3 dayAs usual, Noctua makes another great product. They clearly has the easiest installation of any cpu cooler manufacturer out there, I wish other companies would copy them. I’ll recommend any noctua cooler just based on ease of installation alone.

> 3 dayEvery CPU cooler I have ever purchased came with a back-plate, even coolers much cheaper than this one. This expensive cooler does not! They expect you to use the old back-plate that comes with your motherboard. Thats all fine, but my previous cooler is a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO which is a great cooler, but I have my old back-plate in storage someplace and it would be a nightmare to locate. Why not just include a back-plate like everyone else? They include an Intel back-plate, but not an AMD. I had to go to the hardware store to jerry-rig it to work. Aside from that, this is a good cooler, although overpriced. The reason I wanted this cooler is so it will cool the VRMs and northbridge.
