> 24 hourIm very impressed with the Noctua NH-D15 CHROMAX.BLACKs cooling ability, Im glad it lives up to all the reviews Ive seen. In my H500M case, along with a Noctua NF-A14 iPPC-2000 IP67 PWM exhaust fan, it keeps my Ryzen 9 3900X at 32°-35°C idle (background processes like Steam and MSI Afterburner running). In BIOS, CPU temp sits at 29-31°C idle. I havent done any intense benchmarking, but when I run my most CPU demanding processes/games, I very rarely see the temps go over 65°C (Ive maybe seen it reach this temp once), let alone 55-60°C.

> 24 hourPurchased the Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Black to replace an AIO liquid cooler that didnt even last 1.5years before the pump died on me. Idle temps with the defective AIO cooler was about 58-60C and on minimal load (browsing with Firefox), temperatures reached 85-90C, sometimes higher. Quickly replaced the AIO cooler with the stock AMD fan that came with my CPU and idle temp was around 35-38C which worked great for the week that it took for the Noctua cooler to arrive.

> 24 hourThis thing is awesome, I run a Ryzen 7 3700 X, it is noticeably 20C cooler compared to the stock cooler. Even when I run ultra on 7DTD, Red Dead 2, Rainbow Six Siege, and GTA5, I’ve not peaked over 64C. A HUGE improvement over the nearly 84C I was getting with a stock cooler. I would highly suggest or refer someone to this cpu cooler.
