Bought it for my 2700x with both fans on there I can manage 26 Celsius at idle and never go over 55 Celsius under load however with both fans the specs of 165 mm is not true you would need 185 or greater too comfortably mount this cooler with both fans on wasnt too difficult to mount either simple design with Superior results

Keeps my temps low under load

The good:

I did a several day test with my water cooling setup before i swapped the coolers. I had a 2 radiator 6 fan system which kept my cpu at 55c to 62c under heavy load. This Noctua fan beat those temps. now it runs from 51c to 59c on average with a load. The only thing i would recommend is you make sure it will fit in your case...

I built my system in 2020 of course finally had a large sum of money in my life wanted to build a pc that would last me a few years. I went with the corsair platinum hydro series 280mm for my AMD Ryzen 3800xt and between the bloatware bloatware oh did i mention bloatware. The aio i had ordered well the software sucked and kept fighting with my asrock software. So i kicked Corsair to the curve and figured i would try Noctua for the first time and let me tell ya not only was i surprised but holy moly the raw gift of this air tower. It dominated my corsair platinum 280 on temps almost by 11 degrees cooler. This is the god mode of air towers. My ryzen 3800xt during gaming sessions straight remains frosty as can be while holding a steady 4.6ghz turbo clock. Little note i had a micro atx asrock board and to me i think it would have been ok but seemed iffy, i would advise a stout ATX board. This is not a normal tower it fills up my cougar panzer max pro from motherboard to glass, but you get what you pay for. No bloatware no drama or bull poo. You get straight raw dog performance from the massive 140 fans, and side mount you can order the clips and strap a third 140 to it if you so please. So if your tired of manufacturers crap software and just want to game while your battle box stays cool and refreshed. Go Noctua hands down best brand out there.

Noctua build quality kit. This is a beast. Mounting mechanism is the best on market and its pretty quiet but not the ultimate cooler any more. But Noctua will supply mounting kits for newer sockets as they come out so a worthwhile long term investment. Quality costs but this is worth it

il est très gros et NE passe PAS dans tous les sens. il est installé au dessus dun 12700K monté sur une asus TUF gaming Z690. Il n y a quune position où il passe et lair souffle vers le haut. Si on veut faire souffler vers lextérieur, le second ventilateur ne passe pas à cause des connecteurs arrières. A droite avec la mémoire, ça bloque le second ventilateur.
