Noctua NH-D15 chromax.Black, Dual-Tower CPU Cooler (140mm, Black)

This thing is huge.... and I mean HUGE, so check the measurements before you buy. I bought it and it was missing one of the mount brackets and the thermal paste... and everything was sealed...guess the factory control was asleep that day. But, their customer service is excellent... and very German. Its German made, so the quality is amazing. Size it well, or order the NH-C14S which has a much lower profile and if you purchase another 92mm fan from noctua you mount both fans on this as well.. one upper and one lower.

It’s one of the sexiest CPU coolers on earth. This mat black monster is keeping my overclocked i7-8700K at 50% of the operating temperatures when compared against a 240mm AIO from our good friends at the Thermal-take. There’s something else to that one though. I actually took the AIO and slapped it on my 1080ti (but that’s another review entirely), and between this baby cooling the CPU and that AIO cooling my GPU, I started losing hair in the back of my head. honestly, there’s this cream that you can put on but its not gonna o anything other than make your head feel like someone is always blowing on it. You know, like mint? Anyway… good stuff. I run so damn cool I think I’m Hugh Jackman. Best part is that I don’t even hear it… AT ALL!!! I’m not kidding. try it for yourself and thank me later.

Im not gonna lie, this beast of a cooler was hard to install, and you really, REALLY need to follow the directions to the letter; however, when you install this correctly, you have something that even out preforms water coolers!! And water coolers get you 30 Celsius, but this bad boy give you 25 Celsius on idle!* When I run intense titles like Red Dead Redemption 2, Doom Eternal, or other graphic intense games (I havent tried Elden Ring yet), this cooler takes no prisoners. I couldnt hear this cooler when I turned on the computer because its so quiet, I thought I didnt plug in anything until I was foolish enough to put my finger in (do not ever do that! And if your wondering, I still got all my fingers attached).

When I read the reviews of this thing being huge, they werent kidding. I expected it to be large, yet upon opening the box and removing the cooler I was awestruck. This truly is an oversized monster.
