> 3 dayThe version I got was NOT compatible with LGA1700 motherboards. The backplate does not fit in the least. I love Noctua fans and heat sinks and have used them for years. Bit this description is false, suggesting that it works with LGA1700. Or I got a bad one.

> 3 dayAs this box didnt have the LGA1700 mounting bracket (older stock), I had to contact Noctua directly. I was shocked when the bracket arrived within 3 days from Europe. Great company, these air coolers are rock solid: I have an older model in another computer I built 11 years ago, that cooler is still going strong.

> 3 dayThis is a great cooler. Only issue I have found is installing memory can be tricky after cooler has been installed. A little tight on an atx board.

> 3 dayThe fan is too wide for this motherboard and covers up the 1st PCIex16 slot. The 1st slot runs at x16 PCIe3.0 speeds and the preferred slot for a single GPU. My only choice now is to put the GPU in the 2nd PCIex16 slot which only runs at x8 PCIe3.0 speeds.
