The Noctua NH-D15 is hands down the best air cooler on the market. First off, the packaging on this item is excellent. Everything was neatly divided into its own separate box, one for Intel mounting, AMD mounting, accessories, (thermal paste, custom screwdriver, extra mounting hardware, etc.) and a box for the secondary fan and the heatsink itself. Ive been building PCs for years, and do it as a living, and I have to say that for such a large heatsink, the install took me a few minutes. Keep in mind that this cooler is pretty massive, and quite a few cases may not be able to house the beast. But it runs extremely quiet running off the motherboard, and extremely cool in my Corsair Air 540 case. Aesthetically, its not the prettiest heatsink Ive seen (bequiet!, Cryorig) but its not nearly as bad in person at it looks in pictures. I pictured a horrid, chrome looking nightmare sitting in my case, and its not nearly as bad looking as I wouldve expected. All in all, great, great heatsink, and for all of my other builds that require air cooling, Noctuas NH-D15 will be my go to cooler.

The best air cooler on the market in terms of performance, acoustics and installation

I have a 7700K and upgraded from an EVO 212. Before my idle temps were about 30-35 Celsius (this is in the winter in Arizona). After installing this my ambient temps are now around 20-30. This is overclocked idle as well at 4.7GHZ from 4.2GHZ. When I use my VR and Wireless VR (CPU hog) even when it jumps up to about 90% CPU usage itll hover around 45-55 Celsius. Its fantastic! Before the EVO 212 would get up to 55-60 Celsius. The fans arent any louder than the EVO 212.

Best cooler I have ever used. It allowed me to achieve 4.8ghz on my on i7 2600k and keep my temps under 65C while under full load.

This is a beast. I wanted to go Air cooled for my Gaming PC, the Noctua NH-D15 keeps my I7-5820K CPU nice and cool. You will need to get a full tower and check the measurements, because it is big. Luckily they have a list on their site of towers that can accommodate. If you go multiple RAM, you will also have to check measurements for the ram slots under the Noctua.

Extremely good job at cooling, but this thing is huge, and I mean HUUUGE, I have this cooler attached to my mATX motherboard lol and the radiator sits atop my GPU, literally, it lays right up against my GPU, which has me concerned so I placed a layer of electrical tape and a thin sheet of plastic, between them.

Habe den Boxed Lüfter gegen den NH ausgetauscht! Würde sogar ein kleinerer reichen so gut kühlt das Teil!
