Noctua NH-D15 SE-AM4, Premium Dual-Tower CPU Cooler for AMD AM4 (Brown)

I was skeptical at first about my RAM height but there was room to spare. Less cumbersome than a pump, tubing and radiator for the same temps. Well engineered design. Have it installed on a 5950x, no thermal issues with workstation or gaming use.

Cooling a Ryzen 9 3900 with no issues and very quiet.

This thing is... absurdly large. Height specs listed for it do not include the second fan. Setting that fan to bare hairs widths above my Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM got the cooler to fit with about 3mm to spare in a Lian-Li case with 170mm heatsink clearance. Cools very well, and very very quietly.

New build August 2020 with a Ryzen 9 5950x (not overclocked - yet) and Asus Strix 570-e momboard. This fan came in a huge box, so I wondered how much padding there was in the box. But it turns out that the fan (actually a double fan/double heatsink) itself is HUGE. A little fussy to install because of the size, but it did install OK, though I had to use a 9 deep case to accommodate it.

This cooler is fantastic. Like it so much that I also bought Noctuas 120mm fans and replaced everything in my system.

A little expensive but works as intended. Great cooler for my AMD. Exceptional cooling.

Its a beast. Nothing to say that hasnt been said in other reviews. This works at good as my water cooler cooler did and its half as noisy and I dont need to worry about having water leaks. Only thing to watch for is it is HUGE... thats what she said.

Amazing cooler. Replaced a 5-year-old OEM AMD Wraith Spire on a non-overclocked R1700X after idle and peak temps climbed, even hitting thermal shutdown under video encoding and long compiles. Idle temps dropped by 8C and max temps with all cores running >85% peaked at 44.5C. Its more than twice the height and three times the length of the stock cooler but the underside of the radiator just clears my full-height RAM.

Overclocked my 2600 to 4.3 and never hit 70c on stress test.

I replaced a corsair H100i AIO liquid cooler with this. It takes up all the space in my cooler master trooper case, but its keeping my Ryzen 7 cool. While running handbrake I cant hear the fans spool up and the CPU never gets above 40c. Its much quieter than the liquid cooler was.
