Noctua NH-D15 SE-AM4, Premium Dual-Tower CPU Cooler for AMD AM4 (Brown)

This thing is a beast, easily the biggest cooler Ive ever used. Comes with brackets to mount in either vertical or horizontal configuration. You will need a full tower case to for this in. My temps are about 58c when running all 16 threads on my ryzen 2700x at 100% with an overclock of 4.0ghz.

Excellent cooler with very quiet fans. Even overclocked it keeps my chip around 55C during intense gaming.

My temps were running high for an AMD3950x. Emailed Noctua tech support. Their tech support doesnt get back to you, and when they finally get back to you, they dont answer for several days at a time. Anyway,after getting a run-around from Noctua tech support, I borrowed a thermal imaging camera, and 1/2 the cooler isnt getting warm. Noctua hasnt responded so far.

Fantastic. I was able to drop my temps around 15 degrees C compared to the stock wraith spire. Running my ryzen processor at 3.8 ghz at 60 degrees C during prime95 stress testing. On Idle its running around 30-35. Playing PUBG or Overwatch on max settings my processor is running around mid-high 40s to lower 50s.

Used this on my new system to keep my Ryzen 9 5900 X cool. Works perfectly and was easy to install

Big cooler but works great for Ryzen 7 5800x.

I thought I measured my case size right but I didnt account for my ram pushing raising the secondary fan. SO I only use one.

CPU cooler works great! Fans are silent even at 100% rpms. Much quieter than the Cooler Master Lite 240 AIO, that I replaced. Both coolers worked as intended and kept my Ryzen 7 1700 @ 3.5 GHZ @ 1.275v, below 70 degrees C under continuous Cinebench runs for 30 mins, and during 30 mins of 4k video rendering. Idle temps were 30-31C, ambient air temp. around 78 degrees F. Your results may vary. Bottom line both coolers work and it boils down to personal preference and how you have your case setup; ie: whether your using a full tower case vs micro or some other case design. I prefer the Noctua for long term performance reliability. The Noctua easily fits in my Corsair 750D airflow edition, with no clearance issues as long as you use low profile RAM. This was by far the easiest fan to install that I have ever done. Over the years I have thrown in zellmans, coolmasters, etc. and none were as fast and easy as this one. keep in mind that this thing is MASSIVE, I only could use one of the fans due to the height of my ram but even still I shaved about 10-15 degrees off load versus the wraith spire that came with the Ryzen 5.
