Noctua NH-D15 SE-AM4, Premium Dual-Tower CPU Cooler for AMD AM4 (Brown)

Didnt come with the pieces needed for mounting. Ruined an entire build plan.

This unit is a beast! My chip barely gets warm! Fast tech support! I needed a different mounting bracket that they offered free of charge.

I had purchased a liquid cooler from a well-known brand to replace my previous liquid cooler that wasnt working well, but it arrived DOA. I read up on the Noctua and decided to get it based on reviews; it did not disappoint. This behemoth heatsink/fan setup keeps my CPU cooler than the previous liquid cooler ever did. Its a bit bulky, but Im a happy camper.

What to day these clips are annoying they really need a better howto very hard to understand install, best youtube videos instead of trying to reverse engineer

This cpu cooler is absolutely amazing. Installation was a bit difficult but i had no prior experience using these types of coolers as the only one ive used was a Corsair H60. The packaging for this thing was immaculate, everything was placed neatly inside of separate cardboard boxes with no wiggle room. Noctua also include a WHOLE tube of thermal paste instead of just having it on the cooler itself. I use a Ryzen 1800X and idle temps have gone down 10C while temps while gaming have gone down 20C. You just need to make sure that you have enough clearance for this beast and i recommend this cooler to anyone that wants to overclock. Amazing work noctua you definitely have a customer for life here!

Imagine you have airplane engine on your CPU but quiet one

Wish I could replace all my fans with Noctua. In the words of Steve from GamersNexus, where does that color come from? I mean, biologically.

Easy to install, very quiet, and at least in my case (be quiet dark base 900) better temps then a top mounted dual 140mm water cooler (EVGA), although this may be because of airflow restriction for the top mount.
