My grandson is 9 and he loves sketching and drawing, he was so happy to receive this for his birthday and it has provided hours of fun!!

I wanted to get back in to sketching/shading again after years away and had no tools left in my house, so this was an easy choice. This package is a perfect start up for anyone interested in starting or getting back into pencil drawing, with a full compliment of pencils (soft, semi-soft, hard), and a generous sketch pad that actually has some weight to it. Newcomers may find the selection of charcoal tools a bit intimidating, but theyre a nice bonus and allow more room for play and experimentation. At less than $20, even a hesitant would-be artist should be willing to pay to give it a shot. It is not especially accommodating to the traveler, but its only fair that you would have to pay more for a travel kit and extra packaging to secure the tools for easy transport. But if you just want to have a nice set of tools around the house for easy anytime drawing, this is a cinch.

Im happy with this. Im happy with the price. Order came in good time. The package got a little smashed during shipping, but not enough to cause problem. I think mail and freight outfits do not handle anything with care these days ... just toss everything into a pile and then dog pile other stuff on top. The supplier did good diligence; the UPS didnt handle good. Product great; freight handling sloppy.

I ordered this for my grandson, who is an excellent artist. This is the second time I have ordered these for him. He is very happy with them.

Im a beginner so Id say it seems good. Theres a selection of the most commonly used hardnesses of the pencils. You can use the plastic case they came in to keep your pencils together, organized and ready for use but I will be looking around for a pencil box or holder to make them easier to use and store.

This set is amazing!! Great quality, and can’t wait to gift it. I am gifting it to a 9 year old beginner, and it seems very easy to understand and like he will have a blast!!

I got this for my older cousin for their 19th birthday. They wanted to be a tattoo artist, but they needed to practice their drawing skills. So I got them this since they didn’t have their own pad or simple art tools. This is perfect for a beginner :)

Gave this to my 12 year old granddaughter. She really likes it. Makes a great gift for beginner artist.
