This is a Christmas present for a 6 year old. Package looked good and all the items were there and in place. I do not know how he was going to like it, but he really likes to draw. I hope he likes this.

Ive always wanted to sketch, but was hesitant because I have absolutely no formal training. When I saw this beginners kit, I thought it would be worth giving it a try. Being a first time charcoal “artist wanna be”, I really could have used info on the different types, how to use and when, for what. As well as a couple of simple illustrations to start would have been great! Had to order a charcoal drawing book for some understanding and a dose of bravery to start. Looking forward to learning!
