Now is a reputable and fairly priced brand. Ive never experienced any problems with Now. I use L-Lysine as an immune system booster and this brand works well.

I much prefer the capsules but I forgot that I once ordered the wrong kind and accidentally re-ordered them. They are fine, but the capsules are a little easier to swallow and I think they work better (maybe easier for the body to absorb).

2 a day keeps the cold sores away. No need to take anything Dr. prescribed. Very effective.

I buy a large quanity of these to take if I begin to feel a cold sore coming on. I take a few high mg. tablets to stop the feel of it beginning. Which is a tender area with maybe a little raised lump. I take a few throughout the next few days to reverse it and make it go away. Catch it quick and keep on hand. BAM!

Our 6 month old boxer puppy had been suffering from canine papilloma virus for almost 3 months. She had huge warts all over her face, including some inside her mouth that made it difficult for her to eat. They bled constantly, making a mess and making her miserable. After reading about L-Lysine online as a possible remedy, I purchased these. Within 2 days the warts had started shrinking noticeably, and they were gone completely within a week.

Lower prices

I have 2 children that were prone to severe fever blisters. I dont give it to them on a daily basis but when I do notice redness around their lips I know one is coming on. Ill then give them the recommend dose for about a week and 9 times out of 10 the blister never appears.
