I find this a cheap way to stop getting a cold sore if you down these immediately. No reason to buy the expensive tabs when this gets right into your system just double up on the doses when you first start taking them and doing immediately when you feel a cold sore coming on they are great and have used them for years.

This arrived on time, good size pills, and pills are not too big for me to take. They glide down the chute well.

Now is a reputable and fairly priced brand. Ive never experienced any problems with Now. I use L-Lysine as an immune system booster and this brand works well.

I got this for my dogs itching. He is an older dog and I think he was over vaccinated throughout his life so he has some skin viruses. I read somewhere that lysine helps with the itching and it seems like it did. If you decide to try it, check with your vet first though because it may contradict some medications and other vitamins.

I take two pills a day, and I havent had any canker sores since I started. If I forget to take them for a day or two, they start coming back. I gag easily on large pills, and these are very easy to swallow.
