> 24 hourThis wifi plug works well with Google Home. I needed to download the vendors specific app, and put it onto my 2.4Ghz wifi network, then I could sync it with Google Home and so far it seems to work fine. Since this is a dual plug with the plugs on the sides, it does take more room than a single plug would -- just be sure you have enough room for it. It seems well made, but I will update this review if there any problems in the future. ** I received this in exchange for a review, but the review is based on my own experience with the product.**

> 24 hourThis smart plug is one of the better ones that I’ve used. It’s a very easy setup and connects to Alexa with ease. I’m using it for the lamp in the living room so when we come home, just a simple command to Alexa and you have light. This is especially helpful when you have your hands full and unable to flip a light on. I’ve had not one issue since connecting it. Overall I think it works as it’s intended to and I would recommend.

> 24 hourAbsolutely LOVE this! We initially used it in the living room for area lighting, and moved it to the bedroom. It works awesome with Alexa, and being able to to turn on any device while we are away adds that extra level of we might be home, we might not.

> 24 hourI assumed with a double socket, youd be able to assign each actual socket. To say, turn on the lamp but not the night time sound machine. Thats what I wanted it for. Unfortunately, its one button that controls the entire plug(both sockets) so Id need to find something where I know I want both items on together. I think its overly cumbersome for what it is. I have much smaller ones that I can assign things to and control independently. It was easy to set up but otherwise Id go with something else.

> 24 hourThis really helped me in my home automation. I wanted to automate our bedside lamps, but the way I was doing it robbed me of outlets. I need to plug in the lights, the USB charger, the variety of other things that want to be recharged overnight. This freed up an outlet, I plugged both lights in, and has another available wall light, and a single unit managing the bed lamps. Setting up and configuration was easy. But do think about names carefully. My lamp was called John. Which worked perfectly. Until I heard my daughter saying Alexa, turn on John. That was not a good place to be. Dad would have been at least as bad. My light is now his my wifes light is named hers. Always think before you name things :)

> 24 hourI have purchased 2 of your WFIP2 WI-FI SMART PLUG INSIDE DUAL RECEPTACLE but they operate differently... on one device I can control each plug independently and the other device controls both plugs at the same time. See picks. I have reach out to NSi Industries but no luck, ...on the other hand Smart Life customer service is great!

> 24 hourTried for about 2 hours to install this with an Android app. Could never get it to connect to Wi-Fi. Finally borrowed my wifes IPAD and downloaded the app into the IPAD and everything came together quickly. The instructions are hard to follow but between that and the website we figured it out. After the initial install you can bring up the Alexa app and manage it from there. The biggest problem is to get it to connect to the WI-FI network. The reason for such a low rating is because it does not work with Android.

> 24 hourThis plug is smarter than my house . It may also be smarter than me. Works with our kitchen and LR lights, but not others; works with our ceiling fans. Easy to plug in and set up. Next time I go smart anything electronic Ill call our son or grandnieces. I rate it a four.

> 24 hourThe first thing you have to know going into this is that this is ONE remote outlet with two plugs. That is, it offers two places to plug in and control as one unit, and not independently like some multi-outlet WiFi plugs. I have a pair of plug in light fixtures above my living room book shelf that are the main lights for that room. In the past, I used a timer with an extension cord so that I could have two plugs (one for each fixture) coming out of the single outlet. With this, I can easily plug both fixtures directly into the smart plug which eliminates the mess of wires that used to be required behind the shelves. As long as you go into this knowing what it is (dual plugs attached to one remote control), I think you will be happy with the performance of this product. If you need two independently controlled outlets, this isnt the product for you. For me and my setup, it works well.

> 24 hourI have 2 lamps sitting on our Fake Fireplace with unsightly cords that had to hang along the sides because that is where the controls were located. Now I can hide the cords and just say “Alexa – Turn-on fireplace lights” and with her pleasant little voice she say’s “Okay” and it’s done! Not only that, I have 3 plugs with only 1 outlet on that wall so this was the ideal solution. They weren’t too hard to set up although AP mode was easier for some reason. The plug is sturdy and doesn’t stick out too far and still allows for another large 3 prong in the same 2 plug outlet. I’m actually going to purchase another one for a console table I have with dual lamps. You can’t beat this plug for this type of lamp where you have to fish around the cords to find the controls. Love it!
