It clumps up and it is bitter. I have to mask the taste with other powders like magnesium or glycine.

This has been great for our pets with health issues. Slow to start, but have seen progress with multiple uses. Our 14 year old Rottweiler laps it up while our 3 kittens are undecided.

My second order of Nutricost Lysine powder. Was cautious about buying such a large amount of product. Purchased to offset the high cost of feline lysine for my rescue cat. Really like the fact I can give him a higher dose for his virus which wreaks havoc on his immune system. Not to mention the mucous rooelike strands ejected from his nose getting everywhere during machine- gun sneezing attacks. All a thing of the past now and forever I hope. This product dissolves well in water and seems to work great! I had a cold sore coming on and I took this and the next day it was totally gone!

My cats get this every day as a supplement. Recently I ran out of this very easily dispensed product and I and the cats all regretted the necessity of grinding tablets and being forced to use pieces which were much more easily left behind.

Could not give ferel kitty meds for cold like symptoms. This stuff was the answer. Mixed with his food. Worked!

I originally ordered the pet L-lysine for my dog who had warts, but it was expensive, $20 for 120 grams. This is a much better deal and I can use it too. I started taking it for shingles, drop a scoop in a glass of water. Mixes well and no taste. Im using 3 scoops a day (divided) and my dog gets 1.5 scoops along with thuja for his warts. For reference, he is 110 lbs.

This is made in Utah and I know because I contacted the manufacturer. It is not just distributed by ...., but made in the USA

Great size for value. I feel the crystals or powder was a bit thick, not powder like. Although I’m sure it does the job.
