21-11-2024I tried these after Kotex quit making the super plus tampons that have been the only thing that worked with my extremely heavy flow for decades. These OB tampons are horrible. Even with heavy flow, they absorb as they are being inserted, meaning that you are trying to shove dry cotton inside while it abrades your tender tissues. Insertion is painful. Then, they are difficult to place in the exact location for comfort, something that I have never had trouble with using a traditional applicator. Of the 3 I tried before throwing the rest in the trash, only 1 stayed in place properly. I will continue to search for an absorbent tampon but OB is off the list for good.

> 3 dayThese have been my favorite for decades. Really missed them when this size was not distributed for a while. It is wonderfully absorbent, easy to carry around discreetly and less messy to use than dealing with applicators where you might not get it right where you need it to work well. I hope these never go away. Good value when I purchased it here.

> 3 dayI spent 20+ years (Im now 40, so if that tells you anything) using paper applicators that would get wedged or would end up too dry and you know...the feeling of pulling one of those out is too much fun. So, on a lark, I decided to get a box of OB tampons and the heavens opened. Not only can I cram about 20 of these in my bag where I could only fit a couple of the paper applicators before, and they would always come out of their paper rendering them useless, these fit SO much better. Theyre easier to get placed and the way they are designed to open is light years over paper applicators. They dont last as long, so youll have to change them a bit more often, which is why I knocked up to the Ultras. I cant find these anywhere in the stores, so Im buying them here. And, hot tip, anything you dont want a dude looking at? Just cover with these tampons. Theyre like garlic to a vampire.

Greater than one weekThese are much better than Tampax or Kotex in terms of leak protection.

> 3 dayJust buy em, ESPECIALLY if your flows are heavier. I would not recommend this size on average heavy days, only on the HEAVIER DAYS

> 3 dayThese work decently well. Certainly better than not using an ultra capacity tampon. That said, for me I have a problem with them not being able to insert as far as I needed for comfort and proper position. I used to use regular/super back when 10-15 yrs ago and those were easy and great to use. However, Ill be going back to using Tampax Pearl Ultra because they are so much easier to fit. Also, these expand like a cone, tampax is more rectangular. For me that shape works best. Shipping was prompt, product arrived undamaged and as described.

> 3 dayIf youve seen their super plus, this is super plus plus. Omg theyre huge. But like, comfortable. Gets uncomfortable if worn for too long, as with any tampon I assume. Meant for the heaviest of heavy days, dont try to insert these at the end of your period cause itll hurt.

> 3 dayI have been using these for years! I dont know about you but I find applicators painful and uncomfortable. These too a minute to get used to putting them in and finding that just right angle. I use my middle finger to push it in. These are comfortable and if you get the right flow tampon they dont leak. I honestly didnt get these to be environmentally friendly I got them because I hated other tampon applicators. So if your like me...give them a try.
