o.b. Original Non-Applicator Tampons, Ultra Absorbancy, 40 Count (Pack of 1)

Yea these are the best brand of tampons, no stupid applicator, easy to insert with finger, very absorbing, and I love that they only expand sideways, not lengthwise which I can fee uncomfortably whenever I am forced to use any other brand. However, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE WRAPPERS? The little clear wrapper is had to open on some, and often really hard to pull off. It’s too tight on almost half the tampons in any given box. Sometimes the tip part is real super tight and I have to use my teeth to pull it off. I’ve been exclusively using o.b. For over 30 years, and lately the American ones are horrible to unwrap. In Germany though, where I visit frequently, they are easy to get out and they even have a new way to open, you can simply twist the wrapper and it opens right up, and the two pieces slide off super easily. I am giving 3 stars because of the wrappers being so maddening, ESPECIALLY WHEN A WOMAN IS EASILY ANNOYED ON HER PERIOD (!!!!!) and as soon as I see this problem corrected, I will go back and fix this review to 5 stars. Please fix this, o.b. people! I’m afraid to introduce the best tampons in the world to my daughter now, because I know she will yell at me for help whenever she can’t get a wrapper off. So far she’s only using pads, but you better fix this by the time she’s ready for tampons. It’s truly rage inducing. Thanks

I tried these after Kotex quit making the super plus tampons that have been the only thing that worked with my extremely heavy flow for decades. These OB tampons are horrible. Even with heavy flow, they absorb as they are being inserted, meaning that you are trying to shove dry cotton inside while it abrades your tender tissues. Insertion is painful. Then, they are difficult to place in the exact location for comfort, something that I have never had trouble with using a traditional applicator. Of the 3 I tried before throwing the rest in the trash, only 1 stayed in place properly. I will continue to search for an absorbent tampon but OB is off the list for good.

I have had a heavy flow for YEARS. Every other brand I’ve bled through or had to wear a liner underneath. OB changed the game. I can now wear a ULTRA tampon with no liner and it can still hold up to my heaviest flow. I change it every like 2 hours on my heaviest days. Nothing compares! I feel so free. I know that sounds silly but not having a pad or even a liner crammed between my legs constantly for 5 days is a lifesaver. I know the idea of no applicator is scary but it really just allows you the ability get to know your body more and become more in tune with how you feel. In less than no time you’ll be a pro! Tampons are really not as scary as they seem. I say start off tiny and move up in sizes. Once you’re in your heavy flow the lubrication of blood will help insertion go by smoothly! OB is a great starter brand in my opinion because I think girls often get confused by the applicator so a brand simple as this is no hassle at all. Small, discreet but mighty. OB ULTRA & OB as a brand is the way to go!

I had no idea how big these would be but my flow has been horrendous and Ive been leaking though. These do the job. nothing gets past them. The first time I used it I was afraid I wouldnt be able to get it out but it was ok.

Love these. Discreet, not a lot of access garbage to dispose of. Always been neverous about trying these because I was so used to applicators and worried about my hands getting dirty. But it’s super easy and no mess.

These have been my favorite for decades. Really missed them when this size was not distributed for a while. It is wonderfully absorbent, easy to carry around discreetly and less messy to use than dealing with applicators where you might not get it right where you need it to work well. I hope these never go away. Good value when I purchased it here.

Absorb more and longer want leak quickly like flat tampons. It forms to your area. I cant live without out them when mother nature calls.

Been using these for Years. Best option for Leak proof over any other tampon that I have tried.
