o.b. Original Non-Applicator Tampons, Ultra Absorbancy, 40 Count (Pack of 1)

Having always experienced longer and heavier periods, I rely on these OB ULTRA for their super absorbency, leak protection, and comfort. Please continue to make them available to customers!

I decided to go back to my european roots and give those tampons another try. They are great quality tampons and the price is great. I guess I just find the ones with applicators more comfortable for me. I still use those, and I think they are great, they are just not the best tampons to use when in a public restroom that everybody can see you through the huge openings of the stall. I wish they made them with applicators. If they did, I wouldnt think of using another brand of tampons. I think that o.b is one of the best brands of tampons out there.

Barring a dire emergency, I will never use any other tampon. Ever. I will go out of my way to get my OBs...if they are out of stock, I will shop until I find somewhere they have them, rather than make do with another brand. You know what makes these little guys so superior? The expand width ways...like youd expect a tampon to do. Like a cork in a bottle. I havent come across a single other brand that does that....they all seem to expand vertically, which serves no purpose other than to ruin your knickers and fall out when you sneeze. Some people are intimidated about the whole no applicator situation....dont be. Youll manage just fine. The great things about no applicators: They are tiny...put one in your pocket, hide it in your hand, have room for other crap in your purse when you have your period. Eliminate the stress when youre at someone elses house, debating whether you should put the applicator in the loo and pray that it flushes down, or having to wrap it up in loo paper and shove it to the bottom of the trash can to hide it Feel slightly smug about the fact that you are doing a little kindness for the environment...its APPALLING to me that they started making applicators out of plastic...totally unnecessary, and responsible for large quantity of landfill that will never ever break down, I would think. I honestly dont understand why anyone uses anything other than OB.

Easy to store and travel with, discreet, easy to use, and wonderfully absorbent. These are my go-to tampons. Even better, OB is now offering some absorbency levels in organic.

These are my favorite tampons. I can never find them in store so I’ve had to resort to ordering them on Amazon. Kinda expensive but worth it.

Yea these are the best brand of tampons, no stupid applicator, easy to insert with finger, very absorbing, and I love that they only expand sideways, not lengthwise which I can fee uncomfortably whenever I am forced to use any other brand. However, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE WRAPPERS? The little clear wrapper is had to open on some, and often really hard to pull off. It’s too tight on almost half the tampons in any given box. Sometimes the tip part is real super tight and I have to use my teeth to pull it off. I’ve been exclusively using o.b. For over 30 years, and lately the American ones are horrible to unwrap. In Germany though, where I visit frequently, they are easy to get out and they even have a new way to open, you can simply twist the wrapper and it opens right up, and the two pieces slide off super easily. I am giving 3 stars because of the wrappers being so maddening, ESPECIALLY WHEN A WOMAN IS EASILY ANNOYED ON HER PERIOD (!!!!!) and as soon as I see this problem corrected, I will go back and fix this review to 5 stars. Please fix this, o.b. people! I’m afraid to introduce the best tampons in the world to my daughter now, because I know she will yell at me for help whenever she can’t get a wrapper off. So far she’s only using pads, but you better fix this by the time she’s ready for tampons. It’s truly rage inducing. Thanks

I have been using these for many years now since I came from UK. In UK they are are called Lilets, I used to ship the UK ones over until I found these. I love this brand, they are great for heavy periods. I am glad you decided to make this size again!

The joy of anonymity means being blunt... Second, if you are old enough to have a period, you are old enough to talk about your period. I have a copper IUD and that means epic heavy periods. The OB Ultra are the only tampons that dont require me double bagging with a pad. The local drug store does not carry these so, thank you to Amazon! The only other period product I use besides my menstrual cup.
