> 24 hourThe bottom of the click buttons have sharp edges that rub along side of the hands and almost feel like they are sharp enough to cut. After some long term use it causes irritation along the 3rd finger for me.

> 24 hourFirst, I like to say the mousepad is MUCH bigger than I expected, I was surprised at the size of the mousepad. I am not a PC gamer and bought the mousepad purely for aesthetics, to go with my older OMEN laptop so the size is probably very useful for gamers but it is ALMOST the size of four regular square mousepads. It takes up a lot of space on my writers desk with my laptop. I thought, not a big deal still excited to use it. Then, I realized it has a USB-C cord attached and my computer does not have a USB-C port. Then I said, no worries it came with an adapter. I watched a review to figure out how to change the colors of the OMEN logo (HP is really bad about including full and DETAILED instructions) the video, although nice, was not helpful. The only thing I realized from the video is that the there should be lighting around the edge of the mousepad and mine wasnt on. I found another video that instructed me I needed to download the OMEN Command Center to control the lighting and it was available in the Microsoft Store. After downloading the Command center the Zone 2 lighting was still not working. After researching it was explained that unless you have a USB-C port on your computer it will not work. That was very disappointing to find out. I do a lot of upgrading on my computer and my OMEN works like a pro and I wont buy a whole new computer just to have an USB-C port. And the adapter is a nice touch but if plugging in the adapter doesnt give the mousepad full functionality then whats the use? So, wanted to update that tonight I decided to randomly try something. Because the mouse pad requires USB-C for power I thought, what if I tried my USB-C power adapter for my Samsung phone (came with my Samsung Note 20 Ultra at 25W)? And it worked. Because its not connected directly to the computer the USB port located on the outpost mouse pad wont work for USB dongles, I mean it will of course power them but since the outpost isnt connected directly to the computer, the USB port would not be either. I dont need that functionality since I am using a docking station anyway. So, if you want the edge lighting to work just use a USB-C adapter, sometimes called power adapter type-c. I dont know the outpost power requirements (I tried to find them for you but couldnt get more than the QI charging - charges at 5W) so, try at your own risk, but again, Im getting beautiful edge lighting and that makes me happy! :)

> 24 hourDouble sided pad is dope. Pretty penny for whats more or less an RGB mousepad with charging capabilities. But as always, ill buy anything with the words Omen imprinted on it to match the setup.

> 24 hourIve tried dozens of gaming mice, both tethered and wireless. They all have their positives and negatives and this one is no exception. What I like the most about the Omen is the hand comfort. It truly cradles your hand and I love that it has removable wings to rest your thumb and pinky on--a great feature. The mouse is incredibly precise and has zero connection issues (such a big deal as Ive used some wireless Razer mice that would drop connection at the worst possible times). I also love that I can charge it on the same Qi charging pad I use for my iPhone and Airpods. Everything can plop onto the same surface! Fantastic! The only thing I dont love about the Omen Photon is that it doesnt give you a low battery notification. Would love to see this implemented in Windows 10s Notification Center. Sometimes I forget to drop it onto the Qi charger and it craps out mid-day. Other than the notification issue, this is a fantastic mouse that I have no hesitation giving 5 glowing stars to!

> 24 hourQi charge is cool and so is the sensor location for finger-tip grippers...but sadly it was just off on its design between the buttons and weight.

> 24 hourThis is a serious mouse for serious gamers. From the moment you take it out of the box, you can tell. It’s a big, heavy mouse with unlimited potential to make it a perfect fit for the individual user. Things that I felt were noteworthy: · It’s wireless, of course. I charged it with a standard wireless charger I had around (QI certified) with no problem. I saw where there is a special charging pad available, which those who spend large amounts of time might want to consider; you would never run out of power! · It does have a micro-USB adapter (port is on the front). · The dongle for it is nice and small. · You can adjust your DPI during use. As you make selections, the color on the mouse changes. Kind of cool. · You can’t adjust the length, but the flanges on the sides are removable. I happen to like the flanges, as I tend to use a “claw grip” when I’m using the mouse. With the flanges in place, I don’t get that irritating thumb drag. And the flanges are different sizes and changeable depending on whether you’re left or right handed. · Out of the box, the 2 buttons on the left side are already installed. I added an extra 2 on the right side (all parts included) to give me the full 11 button options. This mouse is smooth. I don’t think I’ve ever used one quite like it. Again, if you’re serious about gaming, this mouse may be for you.

> 24 hourI am so glad to have chose this mouse instead of the Razer Basilisk. The ambidextrous design is well thought out. My hand sits comfortably on it and even after extensive use. It also charges quick and the battery lasts me for around 4 days of a couple of hours of usage each day. I primarily use this mouse for general usage than gaming. I would definitely recommend this mouse to everyone (non-gamers included).
