> 3 daySo far so good. Excellent accuracy and positioning. I initially had reservations about the weight, but turns out it not an issue. Software is easy to use to set up lighting and customize buttons.

> 3 dayPrior to getting this, my computer was hooked up to a basic mouse that was wired. Moving it around was on the clunky side, not to mention the wire getting caught or snagged all the time when I needed to move it around. Comes in a nice telescopic box that holds the mouse. I thought at first it was big, but it fits in my hand better than I expected. The wings are attached magnetically, which you can take off, or put on more streamline edges which are in the box. I like the wings as they are flush with the surface of the table and feel like I am gliding around. It comes with a USB to charge, but its fully charged out of the box. I plugged the USB dongle and it was instantly recognized by my computer and it was ready work in minutes. Awesome! Since the OMEN is a gaming mouse, there are going to be a lot more controls than a regular mouse. There are a right and left standard buttons, a wheel, and two small buttons on the center top. These are all programmable for whatever game you are playing. I have been playing Grim Dawn this past month and I dont think there needs to be much programming on the mouse, as much of it is done on the keyboard. The whole mouse lights up and the designs are shown off nicely, and will continue to change colors as you use it. It will shut down when you stop using it for a period of time, and light up again as well. The wheel as well also lights up and it has a Tron look to the whole thing. But I have been using it for over a week straight right now and it feels awesome in my hands, and moves perfectly in synch. I feel as though its response to my hand is exactly how I feel I am doing it. Overall I am really impressed with this mouse. Probably the best one I ever used.

Greater than one weekSo my ONLY complaint about this otherwise awesome mouse pad is the description. In the description (at least at the time I write this review), one of the bullet points is Qi wireless charging - Charge your wireless gaming mouse and Qi-enabled devices such as smartphones while you play The key words I read there, and lets see if others think the same, was the While you play. So here I am thinking, Oh wow, so this pad can keep my wireless mouse charged while I play! Awesome! So I ordered this as a bundle with the HP Omen mouse, which has yet to be shipped (thanks, COVID), excited that I can finally ditch the cord and game for long bits of time without having to worry about the mouse dying in the middle of a tense gaming moment. Unfortunately, when I unboxed the pad, I found that this mouse pad only has a small charging spot for devices, with room enough for one device to sit on. It does work. My phone is charging on it as we speak. But my hopes of having an actual pad surface that keeps a mouse charged DURING gaming again went up in smoke. So I am now back to knowing there are no pads like that out there. Still, thinking this was the first pad that could do that, I bought it, and I am still somewhat okay with the purchase. While my main purpose was the expectations I ranted about above, the pad itself IS a very nice pad to have. Its HUGE, so do NOT expect this to be a portable hard surface you can pack with your laptop and take with you. You will NOT be doing that. But for at home on a desk or table, this pad provides a large, nice surface to play on. It also lights up nicely and with the HP Omen software can be customized on the lighting. I do have to point out that if you do not have the matching wireless mouse to go with this pad, and end up using a corded mouse, the cord WILL catch on a device you might have charging while you are moving the mouse around. So the wireless charge spot is only useful if you use this with a wireless mouse. I will not be wireless until Amazon ships the mouse I ordered with this. Would I recommend this pad? YES! I actually would. I just wanted to write this review to let readers know in detail NOT to expect a surface that charges your wireless mouse while you play, as the description leads you to believe. Cheers.

> 3 dayIve been a fan of the omen line-up for a while now. The design language is very hit or miss but boy is it a hit for me. Ive been a fan of their futuristic spaceship look with the sharp angles and black brushed accent pieces every since my omen x17 laptop. I had the reactor wired mouse and while it was very well built, the metal cord was a bit of a drag for me... Literally, it felt like an awesome mouse but having to pull on a metal cable just wasnt sure doing it for me. The photon wireless mouse takes care of several issues. The build quality is superb, its rock solid and has very crisp and bright led zones (on the omen logo and scroll wheel). The mouse also comes with magnetic sides and buttons to accommodate several shapes and button layout. The mouse shape it similar to the reactor minus the adjustable hump, which is a shame because I loved that feature. With that being said, the mouse is still very comfortable. It feels Very nice in the hand and the ambidextrous shape makes it easy for lefties and righties, just swap buttons to your liking and youre good to go. The mouse pairs effortlessly and luckily comes with a small usb dongle like the logitech ones instead of some absurd gigantic dock/receiver combo. I have a few other logitech wireless mice and this is right up there with them when it comes to performance. If you have a wireless charging pads, you could also leverage the qi charging so that you technically never have to plug it in. There are a few things which I personally would have liked to see on this. The mouse is heavier than Id like. I tend to favor lighter mice when gaming (83g g305) So I would have liked it to be a rad lighter, it clocked in at 121 grams on my scale. Its not a deal breaker as I use a g903 and mx master 2s which both weight the same or a bit more. I would have also loved to keep the adjustable hump, that was a really nice feature. Overall the mouse is built well with solid components and features. Definitely another solid competitor in the wireless mice market. Thoroughly impressed, but not surprised, by omen.

> 3 dayI bought it for $50 instead of $130 and have no complaints. Have an HP OMEN laptop and like the fact I can use the Omen Light app to sync the keyboard and mouse lighting. If you see it for sale, its pretty great.

> 3 dayI got this so I wouldnt need any extra wires on my setup and could utilize my phones wireless charger to keep it charged. It was a bit buggy on my hp omen 30l build but no issues since moving onto a Asus motherboard. Never realized how much Id enjoy using a mouse with wings but it makes it super comfortable.

Greater than one weekLove the feel of the slide the mouse has on the pad. I hate trying to charge the mouse. You must put it in a certain spot on the top for it to charge. For some reason I thought I bout a pad that charges the mouse if the mouse is laying anywhere on the pad. I was wrong. This is old school wireless charging for mice.
