Using it for a HP Omen 16 which is about 5.3 lbs and 16.1 in diagonal. It is solid and stable. I recommend the product.

Came at just the perfect setting for my 2017 MBP that is in a protective case. Holds the laptop well, I have no fear it will tip unless it is knocked over. Color was a good match to my space gray MBP.

Update: Ive had the stand since May 2019. For some reason, it has now started sticking to the MacBook. Full disclosure, Im a writer and my laptop is on 12 to 16 hours a day, so I dont know if this makes a difference. However, I like the stand so much that Im buying a second one!

This is a great stand. Completely customizable to the with of your laptop. Doesnt slide around.

There are 4 screws on the bottom to adjust the width based upon your laptop’s thickness. Only 1 screw actually matches up with an Allen wrench (we tried several sizes) to be adjusted. So we ended up stripping the other 3 just trying to widen the stand.
