It stabilizes and holds my Mac Book Pro 13 just right. It doesnt leave a scratch on my mac when I take it out from the holder. However, it does move a little while, Im taking it out, so I would have to position the stand back to its original position.

The stand has worked well for me over the past year or so, but the bolts that you use to adjust the width are cheap and want to round out.

Hate to write reviews, but if it helps someone in choosing a stand, then this is a stand you need to buy.
