Well made but missing rubber at the top WILL leave scratch marks on your beautiful Mac.

I use this to store my graphics tablet when Im not using it. So it sits a bit behind my monitor, keeping the graphics tablet only a short reach away, but definitely not in the way. Much better than a case, for my purposes.

I have a grandaddy MacBook Pro from mid-2015 (I know, I know, Im a poor). Its a whopping 1/2 thick (were talking Great Wall of China thick).

I am using it with new MacBook Air. Adjustable features work great as I have a cover on my MacBook Air.

Had to put my 14-inch MacBook Pro in with the hinge part facing upwards, so as not to block the middle exhaust vent.

This is heavy and sturdy and hold my MacBook Air and MacBook Pro easily. Easy to adjust for thickness of component being held. Very happy with purchase -- got two!
