Have been using these for nearly 6 months to attach my external antenna with a PL-259 connector to my Anytone 878UV or Baofeng radios. Always threads in well holds securely, and seems to work very well. Have had no complaints of a difference in sound quality/noise/etc vs a regular antenna without the adapter. Had to purchase more because they are sort of small and can get lost in the car if you happen to drop it.

Adapters came as described. Was able to hook up an external antenna to my Beofeng UV-5R and have had no issues.

I bought these to connect big boy antennas to my SpongeBao radios after a Pigtail version shorted out in about a month. These seem very well made and I dont see them failing or falling apart. They also have no effect on my SWR. (on an NMO mag-mount whip with 1.01:1 ratio.)
