Does the job of providing protection of my water tank.

Great product and a great deal. I figured there would be a delay because of the holidays and I was OK with that but that was not the case. They showed up at 6 am this morning! Ordered yesterday! BP

My wife is a mobile groomer and we have a suburban water heater built into our van. The water heater is 12 years old and no leaks thanks to these easy to replace anode rods!

I was impressed with the appearance of these anodes. The threaded end cap and the anode itself look to be of made of high quality materials. I also appreciated that they included Teflon tape for the pipe threads, so installation was that much quicker. Installation went smoothly and I experienced no water leaks. Of course time will tell what the long term performance of this anode will be, but so far I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Purchased previously .These anodes did just as designed and sacrificed to protect the steel Suburban water heater tank. Great value as they lasted over a year each with continuous use with less than stellar water supply. ***AS mentioned by another reviewer Always shut off the 110 volt power , Turn the gas switch off , ,Turn the water supply off and above all depressurize the tank by either opening a faucet or lift the lever on the pressure /temp relief valve above the drain /anode. Ten gallons of possibly hot water pushing out the rod can hurt a lot . Besides the bath you will get! Refill system before heat is reapplied

The original rod in the heater was less than the width of a pencil when I learned you had to replace them after owning the rv for three years. Second replacement after two years and very hard well water the rod was worn but not as bad so this time I bought a two-pack. Always good to have a spare. Not a difficult task, just messy! Recommend the product.
