Built a large flat file and used these casters. Works perfect!

Ordered 2” with brakes, rated for 880 lb total. The delivery is fast as usually at Amazon. The brakes are working well (first star). But the diameter is 1 7/8”, the width is ¾”. I am Mechanical Engineer for 40 years. 880 lb total load?!. They made to handle and roll maybe 60-80 lb. each. I returned it with no problems to get refund, thanks Amazon (second star)

This is the fourth set of 4” casters I have purchased and I have never been disappointed by them. I mount them on very heavy cases. Work really well on 6’ x30” X29” rolling storage/tool cases.

wow. these are some smooth casters. The locks hold the wheels and the mount from spinning. Easy lock and unlock with your foot. I took off a star ( wish they had an option for 1/2 star) because if you are mounting it on two 2x4s sandwiched together the holes are very very close to the edges. So close I felt like it would just crack the wood. I used two 3 in drywall screws (fine thread) and angled the screws inward ( i used two on each hole because the hole is too big for just one screw)

I purchased the 4 inch casters for a table saw table project I was building. I wanted to be able to easily move my table into place to work and then move it out of the way again. I can say that this was the best $30 spent on this entire project. Phenomenal quality. They roll easily along my shop floor and swivel effortlessly to maneuver the table around objects. I had an extension cord on the floor that was in the way of the travel of the table and it went over the cord with no effort, almost as if the cord wasnt even there. The brakes are placed in an area that is easily accessible and can be set and released quickly with the toe of your shoes. I am extremely happy with this purchase and will definitely buy more for any other projects I need casters for.

We use these all over our shop to hold bent metal. They hold a good amount and last longer than most other casters
