> 3 dayLordy lordy I love it. Its a major upgrade from what I had great picture and is fairly quiet. Can have lights on in the room and still see the picture fairly well. I give this product a 10 of 10 so far.

> 3 dayIve had this projector for about 1.5 years and it already has developed 8 dead pixels. The eco mode doesnt work right anymore either. Eco mode makes the screen rapidly flash. So Im forced to use the high brightness mode now. Luckily, I can adjust the brightness through NVIDIA software controls. Adjusting the projector focus is a pain, requiring super precise adjustments to avoid having blurry spots in the projected image. Overall Im not sure I would buy another one. If you do buy this, plan on it degrading fairly quickly. I believe after 1 year it was still working fairly well, so perhaps consider it an annual purchase.

> 3 dayI loved my old Optoma projector so when it died, I purchased this one to upgrade in a similar price range and quality. The machine is beautiful and the picture quality is fantastic, however - the design is absolutely non-sensical. On the back of the machine there are two legs but only one of them is adjustable, the other is fixed. So if you want to adjust the angle of the image to your wall, good luck, your only option is a lopsided picture because only one legs height can be adjusted. The other leg is fixed, you cant screw it in or out to adjust height. If someone can explain to me how this is sensible design, Id love to know. I am in disbelief. I also reached out to Optoma support to inquire about this, and I was not given any solution or reasoning, just a yea thats weird design, but I dont know why and its not my job to know, Ill pass it along to the team. Lol. What a joke.

> 3 dayWhen I purchased, I compared this to a much older Hitachi model that I already owned. The color is not nearly as vibrant as the older Hitachi model. In one instance, no matter what color settings I try, the yellow consistently looks like a darker, more mustard, color. Additionally, the picture quality always seems slightly dimmer, despite maxing out the brightness setting and the two projectors allegedly having a similar lumen output. Overall, its an okay projector, but I expected a lot more quality when compared to an older and used projector. Also, their tech support is not great from my experience. I personally wouldnt buy it again.

> 3 dayI just received the Optoma HD28HDR today and did a few things to test it out before final mount and setup. I tried the QR code for more detailed setup only to find Optoma says a HD28HDR doesn’t exist? It also states in the description that it has optical out, so I purchased a long optical cord to go along with it.... no optical out hookup! Only a 3.5mm audio out jack. The brief look into picture quality didn’t seem bad, but I’m pretty disappointed in the lack of information for the product from the company, and the misinformation on the description. I’m hoping I didn’t waste my time and money

Greater than one weekThis my first projector. It came with image problem which gave me concerns about the reliability. As soon as I opened the test image I noticed a grayish colorful bar at the bottom of the image. I also noticed a very small gray bar at the top right corner (this one is very small). I returned it and spend $100 more to buy a similar specs projector from a different brand ( Lets call it brand X, I wont say which one in case people think this is an Ad ). Pros: 1. very low fan noise, I did not notice this pro until I bought the one from brand A which is much more noticeable compare to this one. I did not even notice this could be a problem. 2. 120 Hz tested, very impressive for the price. 3. picture is good enough for the price Cons: 1. this annoyed me most, the remote is the worst I ever used. The buttons sometimes stuck in after I pressed and I need to get the buttons out almost every time I forgot to press it carefully. Moreover, I am not sure is it just my unit, the remote signal is very weak, I have to point directly at the projector to get any response ( BTW, yes, I did tear off the transparent sticker). 2. extremely hot during operation ( even for projectors ), much hotter than the one from brand A, I believe that is trick to make it quieter. Over all, I am glad that I did spend another $100 to buy a different one. The picture quality from brand A is a little bit better but definitely noticeable and it came with a real remote controller and a wider rage of positioning. The only downside I have now is that I need to use my noise canceling headphone if I want to get the full power when using it during very quite night time.

> 3 dayThis projector was pretty easy to set up, the picture is very sharp and very bright I’m using a sound bar for sound. And extremely great value projector I have mine set up on a 135 inch screen and is bright enough to watch during the day with no problem
