> 3 dayIts hard to believe that some foolish people refuse to accept the well documented proof that tubeless tires are far more reliable than tubes. Orange Seal has worked the best for me for over 5 years. All my mountain and road bike are now tubeless and I havent had a unsealable puncture in literally thousands of road and mountain miles. I ride primarily in western Colorado, Utah, and the Big Island of Hawaii. All well known for being hard on bike tires. Tubes are outdated old school tech that has suffered the same fate as rim brakes and steel frames. The nay sayers all love to tell stories of some poor soul the had a sidewall gash and got covered with sealant. They tried to fix it but got all messy and had to call for help. If you put enough miles on bad roads or non groomed trails you may eventually get a big enough cut that is un-fixable no matter what is inside of your tires. Orange seal will seal pretty much seal everything else.

> 3 dayUsed this my first time setting up tubeless, and it was as easy as could be. Flows well, sealed quickly. I found it easiest to use a bottle of water to flush the remnants out of the tube for storage (dont want to put it down the drain). The only improvement I can think of is that it would be nice if there were ounce markings on the bottle to get a more accurate idea of how much you put in.

> 3 dayWorks better than the white stuff, I get goatheads in my tires often, I just pull them out and keep riding, works like it’s supposed to!

> 3 dayafter a few years of stans I decided to try Orange seal. Stans seems to not preform super well if you need to reinflate a tire with C02. Ive heard orange seal is a bit more robust with its temperature responce. the C02 apparently encourages Stans to freeze/ coagulate on its own in the tire as opposed to hitting the holes and sealing. 4 rides in so far so good. update as experience dictates

Greater than one weekShould be enough if you have multiple bikes. If you have just one bike, this should last all year long. Good value. Wish it would have came with the filler tube, so of you do have one you may want to get one to make adding sealant to your tire easier. I do find the Orange sealant tends to dry up quicker than other brands, but from my experience it seals better when you get a puncture. With the large bottle you can top off every 2-3 months.

> 3 daySealed the multiple pin hole leaks in the side walls of my Vittoria 29er tires. Stan just wouldnt do the trick.

> 3 dayI found out about Orange Seal after much, much aggravation with Stans. When I used Stans, my tires bled constantly from the sidewall. Specialized told me we recommend not using Stans as it has corrosive properties not compatible with our tires. Kenda - ate through the sidewalls. Then one day out on a brand new $60 tire, I got a cut about 1/4 long. Already really pissed at how much MTB tires cost, cutting a brand new one like that sent me into orbit. I took the tire apart, cleaned it extensively, put a patch on the inside of my tire where the cut was (Im running tubeless), let it dry. Tested the hold by hand before putting the tire back together on the bike. I really squeezed & pushed it, the patch seemed solid. Put Stans in, aired up the tire. Checked again - yep, holding air. Loaded up & drove off to hit the trail. Get on the trail and 15 minutes into my ride, the tire goes flat. Cussing like a sailor, I walked back to my truck, threw my stuff in & went back home. Took the tire apart, and the patch is laying in the tire not glued to it. Stans ate the glue off. Refusing to give in to tossing a $60 tire in the trash, I went to a couple bike shops explaining what had happened. One shop recommended Orange Seal, saying thats what they use in the shop. I once again, went through the process of patching the cut in my new tire. Put it all back together, checking the air constantly for any sign of loss. Went on my ride. It held! In fact, it held so well that I rode that tire until the tread was gone with the patch STILL holding! Ive been sold on Orange Seal ever since. Ill never use Stans again. It costs a couple bucks more which I didnt like, but it does work. I think both brands are about 200% profit to the manufacturer which is why I gave it only 3 stars on Value for Money, but if you have to pay, might as well pay for something that works.
