OtterBox DEFENDER for Samsung Galaxy TAB A (9.7) NO S Pen - Retail Packaging - BLACK

The description for the particular version of the product that I purchased left it a little unsure of whether or not there was a slot for the S pen - it said there is no S pen included - rather than saying there is no opening to put or retrieve an S pen. That being said, it fits the Samsung Galaxy TAB A (9.7) with S Pen snugly and how you would expect from an OtterBox. I spent about an hour using a razor blade to carve out a chunk so that we can access the S Pen. For under ten bucks, I was happy to modify it myself. The screen protector adheres to our screen and creates an oily pattern which affects how the display looks, but truth be told, it may not have been that way if I had been thinking clearly and properly cleaned the screen before putting it together. It wouldve also been nice to have instructions for putting the whole thing together - but they were easily found online.

Great protection. Tablet has been dropped twice with zero damage. Would buy again.

Wow- what can I say? A great item to have for your Android Tablet. I really like the grip and the protection is A+... Otterbox is the way to go-ALWAYS!

This is my first Otterbox. Ive seen them. Ive heard about them. but honestly I couldnt shell out the money for the price of the cover. Saw it on sale for all of $9 and gave it a shot. It does make my tablet way heavier but i dont really take my tablet out of the house. I feel like I could chuck it out the window and my tablet would be fine lol. I thought the stand would bother me but really it takes nothing to clip on and off and its so protected that Im okay with it. My only issue is that it came with no instructions and for the first 5 minutes Im sure I looked insane because I couldnt see how to get it all apart and I was too afraid to just go ripping corners LOL. But Youtube helped me there. I love the case so much I wont dock stars for that.

This case comes on color as shown. Word great, I still am using it not. It is easy sleeker than all the other otter box cases I have used for other tablets. I would buy this one again, and if I upgrade to a newer model I hope its just as sleek as this one. I got grey for me and black for my husband.

Great protection for my Samsung Tab A. My previous cover seemed to be compromised so I bought this as a replacement. So far so good.

A great case sale priced at 19.99 when I bought mine! Well made and thought out. A few issues I had: The power cable pop up slot on the case put an inordinate amount of pressure on the charger cable head- remedied this but cutting a small nick on either side of the hinge point of the rubber fold out. Dust can get in this case over time, but overall its been a great find¡

Perfect fit, sturdy construction, easy installation. Remember to install your Mico SD card beforehand.

Spouse swears by these device covers but they are not easy to remove when you want to use your device.
